We have been coming into town for the last 2 months due to a family member in Hospital and the staff at Candlewood couldn’t have been any better to us. Diana from the front desk helped get us moved from a king room to a double due to another family member coming in to say there goodbye’s to family member. We have been there 6 different times and always treated like family. I call it my HOME away from Home. I would recommend them to everyone I can. They also have Recliners in there room and that’s perfect cause I sleep in a recliner. The rooms are very clean and set up nicely. They have laundry room and parking was very easily accessible.

Not only was my single room spacious, spotless and well appointed, the kitchenette and nearly full sized fridge was sooooo cool. Everything needed for a vacation stay was already there. What wasn’t in the room was available in the “lending pantry” which had waffle irons, crock pots, board games and more. FREE laundry in a very clean laundromat. 3 minutes from HEB and 10 minutes from North Beach and Corpus. I paid $98 per night for all this. Used the business center and gym, but didn’t have time yo use the grill area. Friends stayed at the Comfort Inn next door and were completely jealous. Stay here!
