At first, we felt a bit hesitant since it was someone’s house and there weren’t any clear signs—we just walked onto the property. When we got to our room, it was lovely, though I was still slightly unsure because you could hear people in the main house, and I wasn’t certain about privacy or whether anyone could enter our room. However, no one did, and our concerns quickly faded.
The room itself was beautiful—bright, airy, and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the views were absolutely amazing.

Lovely country atmosphere. Clean spacious room with good amenities. Comfy bed and pillows. Easy check-in. Short drive to neighbouring town and supermarket.

Lovely location with good views, tranquil. Easy to get to various attractions.
Bathroom door needs sorting as door doesn't latch and a shower tidy would be useful in the cubicle.

We had a tremendous 2 weeks at Oak Mead and intend to return again next year. Our room was very comfortable with a private balcony overlooking fields and Menna was the perfect hostess; ensuring we had everything we needed.
