Subway a block away. Close to an amazing bakery Dagnino, walked everywhere. They let us leave our luggage there and come back to pick up after the Vatican.

We only stayed one night but it was a very nice hotel. Clean room, very comfortable bed! Nice common area to get water and a great coffee machine. Very quiet. However, it was on the 3rd floor (seemed like the 6th) so lots of stairs. Elevator wasn't working so beware.

We had a fantastic stay here. We arrived very early and because our room had been vacated early the previous night, they let us take it straight away. The staff were absolutely lovely, and after a long stressful day I had the best sleep in a comfortable air conditioned room. Highly recommended.
