Clean, comfortable room with breakfast. Overall, though - the experience was tainted by the very unprofessional front desk and bad experience with payment. The front desk would not allow us to change our payment method from the card we used to reserve the room (our local family reserved the room for us but we obviously wanted to pay for it ourselves). Not sure if this is a Hampton Inn policy about this, as it has happened to us twice this year with reservations with this hotel. Have never heard of a hotel with this policy, and when I asked a manager about it, they agreed to let us change the payment but this did not happen until after checking out and leaving. They called us back while traveling to pressure us to update payment right away or else they would charge us another night stay! Ended up having our family just pay the bill to not get an undeserved extra day charge, and now we owe them the cost. The manager gave us about a small 15% discount on the stay, but it really was a hassle. I won’t be staying here ever again.

Very disappointing to see lobby construction with no note of apology or "coming soon" announcement. Construction debris was stacked by the outside entrance. Fortunately Lisa at the front desk gave her usual welcome.

All of the staff was so kind and working so hard. Erica who manages the free breakfast deserves a raise. She is going nonstop to make sure every item was restocked and the area was clean. All of the staff handled the stress of suddenly being fully booked due to the winter storm very well. Mandy and Tracey were always kind at front desk. Room was clean and breakfast was free. I am grateful we had this place to stay.

Hard to rate my stay - overall it was good and understandably this was under a stressful weekend of a winter storm. I had a room near the elevator and could pretty much hear everything. There was one of two elevators working, not enough parking for a full hotel, and a I had two issues with my room. I got there in the evening and had already settled in for the night - one was the sink, the other the thermostat. I addressed them in the morning and the staff was very responsive. Bed was comfy and amenities and breakfast was good.

My 11 year old daughter commented to me how nice and friendly the staff were. The breakfast lady was so happy and appeared to love her job. Her joy is contagious.

The property itself is really nice and the rooms were clean. Only thing that brought the score down was housekeeping knocking on the door at 10:15am (with a do not disturb sign) to see when we would be checking out, even though checkout wasn't until 11am. He then stood outside our door and waited, making us feel kinda rushed to pack up and leave.

I loved this hotel but the only thing I can say bad is that in my room their was pet hair all over the carpet that wasn't cleaned up. Other than that, it was perfect and I would definitely stay there again.

Really loved where this hotel was located, away from the main hustle and bustle. It was quiet and clean. The pool was heated to the perfect temperature and the hot tub was working and clean! Really enjoyed our stay here and we will be back.

Never again. Hotel was ok but the parking is awful. Our car and 4 others had windows smashed and packages stolen. No cameras. Manager was helpful but seems like it happens often as she readily had tape & plastic to cover up missing window.

Tracy was great at taking care of a situation when checking into my original room. She was quick to upgrade my room and went above and beyond. However Rm# 437 is incredibly loud inside the room from what I assume is the hvac system. It sounds like a train is outside the room.

We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed the property. The room was very clean except for quite a few jasty long black hairs in the bathroom both on thr floor and in the shower (gross!) But i used disinfectant wipes to remove them- everything else was very clean. The hotel is in wondeful shape- very new feeling. The breakfast is a full buffet: bagels, oatmeal, omlettes, turkey sausages, waffles, cereal, toast, fruit, yogurt, etc. The breakfast room is huge and open- there are booths which were so comfortable to relax at. There is fresh coffee in the lobby at all hours. We stopped in Portland for 2 nights and chose this property due to its proximity to shopping. We were very happy with the location- parking was always easy, and the location seemed safe. We wouod certainly stay here again!

The entire reason I booked this specific room was for my father to be able to safely shower in the “accessible bathroom”. Instead of having what was pictured (a bench connected safely to the wall within the shower) there was nothing. When asking for a bathroom with the safety feature advertised- my dad was told they would get a chair for him. Then they brought him a plastic patio chair which proceed to slip IN THE SHOWER. This is not safe and NOT OKAY.

Great amenities and a quiet location but still close to the freeway. I have back problems and rarely sleep well in hotels but this was an exception as there was an incredibly comfortable mattress. This will be my new regular place to stay in the Portland area.
