Good place. Room had some small holes in the drywall, but pretty clean and nice restaurant.

The rooms and resort itself were beautiful, however the immediate surrounding areas left a little to be desired, more specifically the beached within walking distance were dirty. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food (and drink) was AMAZING. We especially enjoyed meeting the chef who you could tell took great pride in his work. The pool and spa were relaxing. The area is definitely walkable to different restaurants and a grocery story, and a bus stop is across the street. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The first room was by a rather busy road but they kindly moved us to a better, quieter room. Our room had a hot tub which was clean and lovely and warm.
The breakfasts were good with a nice variety of hot and cold choices. We would certainly recommend this hotel and go back again. .

Room:
Sadly we got a room in bad condition. Lot of holes in the walls, poor paint job, broken loud fridge, shower drain was clogged. We didn't use jacuzzi much, as it faced the busy street - privacy panel covered you only when sitting. It was embarrassing to parade in my bathsuit visible to random people. Also there were soccer matches right next to our room so it was loud.
No kids! Restaurant was quiet.
Few parking places available for guests.
Location:
Ca. 15 min from Heraklion, by car. There is a bus stop and shops/restaurants/beach thay you can reach by foot, but it's a bit of a walk. The area looks like is being re-modeled (abandoned buildings among modern resorts). Big supermarket nearby. You can see the sea from your window.
Food:
Breakfast and dinner changed daily, so it was a hit or miss. Sometimes really delicious and some times they re-used leftovers and it wasn't that good. The desserts were overly sweet and we could never finish them. All in all good value for money, we were never hungry.
Staff:
The highlight - helpful, friendly and also multilingual.
But our room wasn't cleaned one day and we had to tell reception TWICE about clogged drain for it to be fixed. You can to ask for iron. Didn't get ironing board tho. My expedia messages were never answered.
Amenities:
For sauna you have to pay 15€. No outside food allowed on sunbeds but they don't sell snacks like chips, that was disappointing. The pool was cleaned daily and it was nice.
