Nettes kleines Hotel mit 9 Einheiten in gutem Standard. Tolles Restaurant zum Meer. 20 minütiger Fußweg in die Altstadt von Heraklion. Parkplatz kostenfrei in der Nähe. Ideal für einen kurzes Aufenthalt. Personal sehr bemüht und nett. Schnelle Fahrt zum Flughafen.

Wir hatten Zimmer 5 zur Straße hin. Da es keine Schallschutzfenster gab, sehr laut durch den Straßenverkehr. Auch gab es nebenan einen Club der an einem Abend bis in den Morgen Musik spielte. Die Frühstückszeiten starten erst um 9:00 Uhr, dies sollte man für evtl. Abreisen berücksichtigen. Wir hatten Frühstück gebucht, dies gibt es a la Carte in Form von Crepes, Toast oder Omelette plus 1 Getränk. War okay, aber gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Everything, we booked this stay very last minute after our flight was canceled. When we arrived we had all had an extremely stressful day but from the moment we walked in the manager took care of everything. He communicated with booking.com on our behalf to get our room numbers because I didn’t have service, they carried our suitcases up the stairs for us. When we got to one of the rooms there was a bit of an oder at first. Without missing a beat the manager stated taking care of it and offered us complimentary drinks while we waited for the room to air out, he also had house cleaning come up to make sure it was extra fresh. The room was very clean it’s just sometimes with old plumbing if it’s not used for a day or two it can dry out and start to smell. It only took maybe 15 minutes after running the water and opening the windows for the room to air out.

Room was very good, spacious and a sea view which was nice with a large balcony.

The hotel has a nightclub/bar attached which had loud music and noice into the early hours till around 3am which made sleeping extremely difficult.

The property is beautiful, like a tropical paradise on the water.

The location is not the address on Booking.com. It’s the same street, but is over 2km away. This was disappointing, because we wanted to be in the center of things. There is no reception desk. We had been given self entry directions upon arrival, but found the staircase half blocked by a sofa. Apparently this is the permanent location of the sofa. A staff member found us and maneuvered our luggage up the staircase. The room had an amazing view, but stained and cigarette burned upholstery. My husband had to clear the shower drain because the shower floor would flood. Envy is more like an outdoor nightclub that happens to have rooms upstairs. The extensive children’s play zone is also out of place. On a Wednesday night there was a concert downstairs that went on from 10:00pm until 2am. The large stage set up and sound checks had been happening since lunch, so that was 11 hours of constant noise along with the light show. There was music on Thursday night also. We didn’t stick around for more. We tried to get breakfast the first day and were rudely treated by an employee that said we needed a voucher and then walked away. There was no other staff to help so we left. The strangest part was the front door was locked until 9am. We could see our taxi outside at 8:15 and we couldn’t get out of the building. A woman in the staff office said we had to once again, maneuver around the sofa to get back upstairs and take a side door out of the building. We also had trouble booking taxis and Bolt for the property saying it was out of range for morning pick ups. This made plans for day trips very difficult. The airport was the exception. Coffee packets not replenished is the least of their misgivings.
