Property is not kept clean, nothing in place for a hotel. No microwave or even to give you just hot water. The staff don't make any effort to meet the need of the customer. First room I was checked in had a leaking roof. The rooms smell dusky and carpet is dirty. Will not come back.

Everything was nice

Didn't know they require $100 cash (only cash) upon check in (own fault didn't take time to read the small print), but they had an ATM right in the lobby. At check-out, they inspect the room and if everything looks good, nothing damaged, you get your $100 cash back (cash, actual green bills!).

Older hotel but clean and good price

The hotel and room was very nice. Checking in was terrible!! I reserved a room thinking it was a whirlpool suite. I was trying to cancel but the cancel button would not work. Finally after trying to get a hold of anyone at customer service to switch to another room. I just got another room on my own. Getting charged double now. Help me. Wendy

The dates that were reserved were the wrong dates, they had a bad attitude, ii paid for a room i didn’t even stay in and i asked if i could reschedule and get a different night, she said there was nothing she could do to help me even though it was a mistake, she didn’t even try to find a solution, and was really rude

The room was dirty, but I cleaned it myself since I was only gonna be there one night

Love how big the room is and that you have a microwave and fridge can't beat it here

After one terrible year that culminated in an even more terrible month I just really needed to get into a hot tub to relax. Luckly, I found this gem close to home. Sure, the remote control for the TV didn't work well, but overall the place was safe and clean, and I have no complaints other than the fact that when I went to check in the person behind the counter tried demanding $100 in cash from me for a security deposit. THAT was never mentioned on hotels.com. I told her she has my credit card number and that she should use that. Like I'm going to cough up $100 cash for that. Absolutely not.

I was very pleased with how clean everything in the room was.

Staff was nice and I was able to check in early for a few. Didn’t know ahead of time that the deposit was cash only so they held my license during my stay (which meant I had to drive around the Chicago area without a license and I couldn’t drink at the festival I went to). The deposit was also more than the room cost. Room was decent and clean.

The staff was very friendly, and the room I actually got was clean, and they cleaned it well every day. The neighborhood is fine and has a lot of options for eating out plus a supermarket nearby. You are only about 12 miles from downtown, which can be a quick or long drive depending on time of day. The weird stuff: when I first checked in, I was given a (non-smoking) room. I went in it. The carpet was torn and the room reeked of marijuana smoke. I asked for another, and was given one by the front desk staff, who was really helpful. In addition to the usual basic cable channels, there were two channels that ran porn. I was told that, because of that, no children are allowed at the hotel (it came up because I asked for a room not adjacent to children because I'm a light sleeper). There was as sign at the front desk advertising soft drinks you could buy, as well as condoms and lubricant. There was also a sign about not allowing unregistered guests into rooms. I guess you could call the place "sex-positive."

Except for the shower, the rest was good. The shower knob itself could not be moved out to turn on the shower. I complained in person to the desk. The lady said that the knob was really hard. I tried again but the knob was stuck. I did not want to break it so I gave up. This was in room 38.

Well, the ac in the room wasnt blowing cold which made it difficult to be comfortable. However I also want to point out that I think this is a sex hotel, possible rented by the hour. There were condoms for sale individually at the check in counter and the tv defaulted to porn a lot. I mean I like porn but it wasn't exactly what I was wanting on this stay. If you don't mind the hot room and have no kids with you, the porn is free.

Clean linen. Towels were clean and in good condition. Room was nice, good heat and Television was in good operating condition. Room needs a small coffee maker!
