We were greeted very nicely and served quickly. The facility was clean and ccomfortable

To start with, we checked in late around 9:45pm. We went to the room and tried the air conditioner but it was dead. The room was ok but no AC sucked. We were too tired to go downstairs and complain. The $1.00 for incidentals was strange. I guess they want to make sure they have your card info incase you trash the place.

My wife and I stayed here overnight on our way to New Orleans, and we were quite pleased with our stay.
The room was very clean and we loved the fact that the floors were laminate and not carpeted. The room looked newly renovated. The bed was king-sized and comfortable, and the air conditioner was quiet and maintained a comfortable temperature throughout our stay. The parking lot was well lit and we felt safe.
We appreciated the fact that the staff had read our request in advance via Hotels.com for a first floor room and had one reserved for us upon our arrival as there is no elevator on the premises.
We also appreciated the fact that the toilet in the bathroom was a comfort -height one which is great for us older travelers.
Water pressure in the shower was strong and we had plenty of hot water. We also appreciated the full-sized refrigerator in our room and the fact that it also had a small kitchen sink in addition to the vanity sink located outside the bathroom.
Our only concerns were the fact that the provided towels were rather thin and we were given only one hand towel. Also no shampoo.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Truly disappointed that the office allowed two rooms of families to sit outside and drink until 9:00. Very noisy. Then, the train that went by every 10 seconds honked its horn at intersections. Didn't sleep much. Did I mention the homeless people walking by? As I was pulling away one of them was talking to one of the hotel guests. Not cool.

Good location for thru travel on I20. Friendly staff. Nice amenities in the room - comfortable King bed, microwave and full size fridge w/freezer! Bathroom is a little small and all the lights are extra bright - not good if one person wants to go to sleep earlier. No elevator. Slightly astringent smell of cleaning products and underlying mildew smell. I probably only noticed because of my allergies.

My wife was on the road traveling. I jumped on Expedia to make a reservation. After I hit confirm I was sent back to ‘Choose your Room’ page and received no confirmation that my request had been processed, so, I chose a room and hit confirm. I then received a confirmation page and received a confirmation email. Then a second email confirmation came through. Within 10 minutes my wife arrived at the hotel and tried to cancel the second reservation. I had to call in the request since I had placed the reservation. Expedia placed the request with the hotel twice and twice it was denied. So, no one stayed in the room, it was cancelled nearly immediately after placing, and the hotel STILL charged us for it. My wife also said it was a sketchy area and to be aware.

The good: location, easy access; comfortable beds and nice amenities; pet friendly. The bad: prior to arrival, I called for 2 days to ask if a hairdryer was provided, nobody answered the phone. A hairdryer is not provided. There was long dark hair in the sink and tub. Absolutely nothing to hold on to in the shower. That was ok for me but not my 76 yr old mom. The laminate floor was filthy which I found out after walking around in my socks.

The hotel was easy to find and in a safe area. We were just stopping for the night after a ballgame and it was fine for that. The room overall was clean but the floor was kinda dirty. Would stay again but definitely don’t take your shoes off until you get in bed.

Very friendly management. The bed sheets and towels were very clean. Nice renovation to the bedroom and kitchenette. The bathroom is dated, but functional. The floor was not so clean, if you keep your socks on it's ok, barefeet became black. It might be that the new flooring needs a scrub to remove construction dust, rather than being dirty.

WE ARRIVED AFTER MIDNIGHT. I COULD TELL THE FRONT DESK LADY TIRED, BUT SHE WAS AWESOME. SMILING, CONVERSATIONAL, AND JUST A VERY POSITIVE DISPOSITION. IT WAS SUPER QUIET, AND VERY CLEAN.

This is an older property that has been refurbished. Everything has been replaced and updated. For an older property they have done great in making things work for what is there expected normal in 'motels'. The shower had to be the biggest upgrade. They replaced it with the molded kind. They raised the shower head so it even worked for me at 6'. Outstanding!

The clerk was rude & I was bitten during my stay I stopped at this hotel on the way to my destination because I was tired of driving I arrived at 3a & checked out at 7a because I was constantly getting bitten but every time I turned on the lights to check what was biting me I didn’t see anything but I definitely was bitten

I think a give back to customers would show appreciation. A continental breakfast would be greatly appreciated for example muffins, juice, hot chocolate packages, tea packages, etc. The Manager and I had a misunderstanding about reservation cancellation because you don’t offer a continental breakfast.
We each became irritated with my asking for a refund. After a while, tried from travel and emotions, I agreed to keep the reservation with an incentive. The room was nice.

Check in was quick and easy. Room was as expected. Stayed as a pit stop on a long drive. Bed was okay, not the worst I’ve had but def not the best. Room was clean.
