My granddaughter (22) and I take a trip together every year. We both loved the Moraccan Inn....lots of lovely touches, great breakfast, wonderful pool and spa....lots of relaxing areas to sit and read and easy to get to all the places we wantec to see

A great place to stay. A wonderful retreat. Staff was so helpful. The grounds, pool were so nice My husband and I were there for 2 days. A fabulous place. Quite comfortable and we definitely recommend the El Moroccon Inn. So happy we found this okace

This hotel surpassed our expectations. Because of it's age, it sits in the middle of a neighborhood, but is enclosed so you wouldn't realize it. It is funky and old but clean and we thought, very cozy. The included breakfast was a welcome surprise. The always-available huge hot tub, pool, and saunas were great. Also, we've been to Morocco, and we appreciated all the art and architecture to make it feel like you're there.

Friendly staff - we feel a warm welcome. The water in the pool is better than the water in the jacuzzi. It would be nicer if the hotel showed the water table of the hot spring water.

We all enjoyed our stay there. It was very peaceful and quiet. I liked that the property had a 420 friendly section, and our stay there was very relaxing. We especially loved the large jacuzzi area.

Love this hotel for a quiet getaway and nice hot spring water . The hotel has lost some of its former charm when the old owner Bruce was at the hotel. The hot tub spa that is beautiful is sadly dirty , the water is murky and has bubbles on top. The rooms are still in good shape and creatively decorated. The pool is clean and the water is clear .

I had the most enjoyable relaxing time at this charming magical inn- Robert was so wonderful and kind! I used the spa services and had an amazing Moroccan clay treatment followed by message that was phenomenal. I used all the amenities and enjoyed every moment. The French press coffee was like the cherry on top. Definitely coming back and can’t wait!

The pool area was very nice and inviting. The staff especially Debbie was extremely nice. The room smelled of humidity, the door and plumbing need fixing. The breakfast was a JOKE. The Expedia photos showed a beautiful Continental breakfast. This is not TRUE. The breakfast choices were substandard. Cheap tasteless coffee, pastries, yogurts. In my book this is called false advertisement.

Lovely, hidden spa that wasn't outrageously expensive. Bear in mind that the area itself does not have much to offer and is definitely not a walkable area if that's what you want.

El Morraco is a perfect place to escape too for a relaxing quiet weekend. You can lounge around the pool reading a book or pop in some ear buds to listen to music. There's a few hammocks and seating areas to relax in as well. The hot spring tub is AMAZING! Spa services are also available. The complimentary mint tea lemonade and ice water are both delicious and refreshing. You can even enjoy watching Casablanca 24/7. Honestly if you are looking to just escape from the hustle and bustle of busy life El Moracco will not disappoint. I look forward to visiting El Morraco again.

The hotel has funky Moroccan décor that made it much more interesting than your typical econo-box hotel in this prices range. The location in Desert Hot Springs is off the beaten path but this means a 15-30 minute drive to a decent restaurant if you're not interested in one of local pizza or Mexican establishments. The grounds are a bit run down and the room had a musty smell but they did offer 3 saunas, a pool, a large hot tub and other amenities including a 24/7 airing of Casa Blanca. Beware of the limited check in window.

It said it provided breakfast. You had to make your own coffee and all breakfast was was yogurt, rolls or instant oatmeal. Not my idea of breakfast.

We really enjoyed this place and can't wait to go back. The room was comfortable and enjoyable, the pool and spa were great, the on-site saunas and the beautiful garden with hammocks and plenty of places to relax outdoors were a nice touch. Having fresh-brewed coffee (decaf, light, medium, or bold) in a French press available day and night and the ability to use all of the facilities 24 hours made it even better. Truly a fantastic weekend getaway.

This is a lovely place. Very peaceful. The mineral pool and hot tub were very nice and greatly appreciated after a day of hiking in Joshua tree National Park

Loved this little gem! I had no idea what to expect, but it exceeded my expectations. Robert the property manager was phenomenal. He made sure our experience was perfect. We also got the clay mask treatment, which was a very relaxing experience. The breakfast in the mornings were great and the pre-measured coffee tasted amazing. This place gave off such good vibes and the people we met were such great people. I would highly recommend. If I had to say anything to help it be even better. I would suggest that the spa room where we got the clay mask and bathroom be upgraded to feel more zen.
