Short walk to local shops and restaurants. Proper Sri Lanka food and bustle nearby. Good for learning to surf. Less touristy
Beach wide but not clean and buzzy like Ahangama or Mirissa. Road between hotels / shops and beach.

Świetna lokalizacja.Po 2 stronie ulicy plaża.Właściciel jest niezwykle przyjazna,pomocny i sympatyczny.Obsługa na najwyższym poziomie.Pokoj przestronny,czysty.Restauracja z przepyszny jedzeniem byliśmy absolutnie zachwyceni!

We were very happy with our week at Golden Bay. It was two minutes walk from the beach. The air-conditioned room was simple, clean and comfortable.
The hotel restaurant food was excellent and varied and we ate breakfasts, lunches and dinners there. There are also a range of other restaurants nearby serving international dishes, plus a small supermarket within five minutes walk.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. At one point the manager successfully helped us sort out a situation where we had a money problem with a driver - thankyou! I had a blissful and very reasonably priced massage on the premises.
We can't fault it!
