About this house rental
This 1930s cottage is the perfect spot for your stay in downtown Southern Pines. It is located on a quiet street, yet close enough to walk to all the shops/restaurants downtown or the Weymouth Center for the Humanities. This unit is downstairs with 1 bedroom (Queen) & 1 bath, a full kitchen, a dedicated work space, and shared laundry room in the back of the home. It has a private entrance from the front door. Come stay with us for a short stay or extended stay!

Loved the neighborhood where the cottage is located, close to downtown Southern Pines. Cottage was just right for my husband and me. Comfortable and cozy. Our host was easy to contact if needed. Enjoyed the history of the area, seeing "American Graffiti" at the Sunrise Theatre, pizza at Sopies, in Southern Pines, the Tufts Arcives in Pinehurst, the Carolina Inn, and the Shaw House back in Southern Pines, the Sandhills Horticulture Garden, and delicious BBQ at the Pik-n-Pig at Gilliam-McConnell Airfield in nearby Carthage. We had a great time celebrating our 23rd anniversary!

We had a wonderful stay at Cottage on Ridge in Southern Pines. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. It had a cozy feel while still being spacious enough to relax and truly settle in. Everything was thoughtfully prepared for guests, and the kitchen was well stocked which made it easy to cook breakfast each morning.The location was excellent: quiet and peaceful, yet close to downtown Southern Pines with great restaurants and local shops. It was the perfect balance of convenience and privacy.Communication with the host was easy and responsive, and check-in/check-out was seamless. Parking was safe and secure. Whether you’re staying for a short trip or an extended visit, I would absolutely recommend this cottage. We would happily stay here again!
