The property was presented perfectly. It looked like it does in the pictures provided. It was welcoming, comfortable, safe and spotlessly clean.
There is nothing not to like. It’s lovely.

The cottage is away from hustle and bustle but within driving distance of Kelso ,Berwick, Seahouses etc. It felt welcoming as soon as we walked in. It has a fully enclosed , mostly lawned, garden which was ideal for the dog. The owners live nearby so help ,if needed, was immediate. The fresh fruit, vegetables , eggs, home made jam and bread were greatly appreciated and scrummy. All the beds are really comfortable. Just the place to relax.
Unusual not to have a wardrobe in any of the bedrooms, but there was enough drawer space and a few coat hangers. Not a problem to adjust.

Amazing, rural location and beautiful, well equipped cottage. Very friendly owners nearby, if needed.
Great base for touring the area.

First and foremost the owners
Lorna & Christopher are perfect in everyway very helpful and attentive
This property is absolutely outstanding in so many ways firstly it has the most lovely surroundings adjacent to the original farm and farm house
The kitchen in the cottage has everything a chef could need this was so helpful as I cook every night for my work lads whom I might say always clean up after tea and never use a dishwasher because they know I won't cook in a dirty kitchen and I won't have it any other way
The whole place is spotless from skirting to ceiling and very spacious and comfortable especially in the lounge with the log fire burning
this week a substantial amount of Snow has settled and temperatures had fallen as low as -10° so the fire made the whole stay so comfy and enjoyable
The bedrooms are spacious and clean also the bed linens are absolutely snuggle perfect and I may add that you struggle to leave the bed at 6am to go to work in the snow on the motorways
So we shall definitely highly recommend this property for both holiday makers and work professionals
for all those Animal lovers
Lorna & Christopher have the most adorable little Border terrier called Goozeberry and she is a little beauty in which myself and the lads spent so much time with playing in the snow playing fetch and on many occasions it was us doing the fetching of her little ball
We will miss her so much 🦴🤾👷🐶
And I'm sure when we return to the area we shall hopefully be using this accommodation again
