It was very modern inside with a fitted kitchen and very well-equipped. There was a lot of attention to detail - the owner hadn’t overlooked anything! I really liked the outside seating too, especially at the front of the house. Also, there was a second entrance/exit you could use if you were travelling on foot (i.e. without the car) - I thought that was a nice feature too.

The house is beautifully furnished and decorated - all to a high standard. A lovely welcome gift was left for us and lots of extras like paper hankies in most rooms. The property was very handy for the village.
The cupboards were so full we had a job unpacking food we brought with us into a space. The non-stick pans were a bit scratched so we were pleased we’d taken our own porridge pan. A washing up cloth to wipe down surfaces would have been handy. We were inundated with repetitive e-mails from Sykes from the time of booking right up until the day prior to us arriving still saying they were carrying out checks. We found this irritating and insulting.
