the view, how clean it was, the staff
The fact that the downstairs front door was always open. This must be convenient for the residents so they don’t have to have keys for the front door and the room. However, this makes the chance that some bugs enter, simply higher. Sadly, however clean and cared for the property was, we saw a cockroach at night on the corridor (and luckily not inside our room, so it didn’t bother us that much)

Older hotel, great location as everything is walkable, and the beach is less than a minute away. Dimitrius was a wonderful host, loved talking with him. He was gracious with his time and I only wish I could have stayed longer and heard more stories.
Try his pistachio ice cream in the shop below the hotel -> simply amazing!
Great beach right in front of you, host can answer all your questions for the whole island and give some history.

Η τοποθεσία ήταν εξαιρετική, δύο βήματα από την παραλία. Η βεράντα του μαγαζιού τοις δίπλα προσφέρει υπέροχη, πανοραμική θέα. Επίσης το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ ευγενικό.
Το κτίριο είναι παλιό και κακοσυντηρημένο, χρήζει άμεσης ανακαίνισης. Ιδιαίτερη προσοχή χρειάζεται το μπάνιο, όπου όλα φαίνονται ετοιμόρροπα. Η πόρτα του δωματίου φαίνεται εξίσου ετοιμόρροπη και καθόλου ασφαλής.
Το χειρότερο δε, κατ'εμέ (εντελώς προσωπική άποψη και "ιδιοτροπία"), ήταν η έλλειψη σήτας και η αμφιλεγόμενη απολύμανση/ απεντόμωση (σε νησί και σε τοποθεσία πολύ κοντά στη θάλασσα), καθώς με όλα κλειστά, εντοπίσαμε ολοζώντανη κατσαρίδα στο μπάνιο. Τουλάχιστον ας παρέχουν εντομοαπωθητικά στα δωμάτια. Χάσαμε τον ύπνο μας για κάτι τέτοιο. Η απάντηση; "Ε συμβαίνουν αυτά κοντά στη θάλασσα".
Ωραία, εφόσον συμβαίνουν και το ξέρετε, πάρτε τα μέτρα σας. Είναι πολύ βασικό.
