I really enjoyed Ennetbaden / Baden. They are lovely riverside towns definitely worth exploring. The location of the hotel is great. It’s on a quieter street with lovely views of the river and easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The room was spacious and clean. It was an easy walk to get groceries and there is an elevator on the Baden side of the river promenade to go between it and the higher part of the city making it accessible for anyone who can’t navigate stairs.

The reception on the Ennetbaden side is only staffed for part of the day, so if you need anything before 10am, over lunch, or in the evening you have to go across the river to the main hotel. If you have to check out early for a flight I would suggest settling your bill the day before. If you’re arriving by car it’s also very difficult to get to the hotel because of construction and you need to put a different street name in to get to the garage. I had asked for instructions before arriving but was told the staff would help me on arrival which resulted in a very frustrating experience so I would insist on getting clear instructions in advance.

Great location. After hour Front desk staff was very kind and attentive.
