Nestled in El Cajon, this lovely house for $789 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. SanDiegoPoolHome is proud to present this gorgeous, newly remodeled home complete with a resort-style backyard! The spacious yard features an amazing pool with a rock waterslide, grotto, and waterfall, in-ground hot tub, and edge-mounted basketball hoop for water activities! The back yard also features a mini golf course, cornhole boards, fire pit with rocking Adirondack chairs, and a full outdoor cooking area with a grill, outdoor fridge, bar top with seating, and a covered outdoor TV, in addition to an outdoor eating area. The fenced-in front yard also features soccer goals perfect for the kids to burn off some energy! The pool can be heated for an additional $125/day with a 3 day minimum, but the unheated pool is included in your stay. The interior of this 2,400 square-foot home features 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and can comfortably accommodate up to 16 people. Three bedrooms contain queen size beds while a fourth contains a queen size bed and a futon couch for additional sleeping space, the fifth bedroom contains a double bed and a single trundle bed that can be pulled out from the double bed and the sixth bedroom has 2 bunk beds (queen mattress on bottom and twin on top). The kitchen is complete with a stove/oven, fridge, coffee machine, toaster, and dishwasher, and the island features a breakfast bar while a full dining table adjoins the kitchen. The living room features a comfy sectional sofa perfect for curling up with the family to enjoy a movie night, and 5 bedrooms have their own TV. There is also a pool table and ping pong table at the house. This home is located in Santee, San Diego, only blocks from the beautiful Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve, and is close to plenty of places to grab a bite to eat! Located close to both the 52 and 125 freeways, it’s easy to get to any of the major San Diego attractions, and there are plenty of beautiful hiking trails nearby at Mission Trails, as well as the golf course at Carlton Oaks. While this home is further inland, it’s still an easy jaunt to any of San Diego’s beautiful beaches! We had a very disappointing experience at this rental for our long awaited family vacation. The major issues were the location and problem with the air conditioner. Located on a main road with an apartment building next door which overlooked the back yard. We felt like we had no privacy. Upon arrival we found air conditioning unit off and temperature 88 degrees. Not very inviting. It never cooled down which made it extremely uncomfortable to get any sleep. Upon contacting owner about this he sent HVAC guys day before departure who had to “deice” unit and changed out old filter that was thick with dust and dirt. Thus seemed to help the problem slightly initially but never did work properly to cool house during the day. The owner promised to bring extra fans and window ac unit which we never got. One bedroom didn’t even have an air vent. Due to heat in house we spent time in backyard which was noisy due to planes from nearby airport. The “garage turned game room “was so hot we couldn’t enjoy it. It was also hard to feel like you are in a relaxing place when the bedrooms had no dressers so we lived out of our suitcases on the floor. If we were able to get property address and check out location and surrounding area we would definitely not have booked this property.

We were staying in Santee due to a family graduation celebration traveling from Wisconsin. The outdoor amenities were beyond amazing. My sister travels with two children with special needs and the property was just what we needed to keep everyone entertained without having to travel much in the area. Kevin and his wife were extremely kind and were great in communicating.

The bedrooms were a little small, but since we just slept in them, it was fine. The outdoor pool, corn hole, pool table, and ping pong table were great for the families anytime during the stay. The location was close to San Diego. The property manager was very responsive when little things needed attention.

The house is perfect for our size group. The house does need some work, needs better drainage for all the tubs, had to flush the toilet to get the tubs to drain. The guest bathroom with the laundry had a large soft spot in the floor and family were afraid they would fall through the floor. I was unable to enjoy myself at night with the amenities outside with the threat of eviction hanging over our heads for one infraction. I was afraid even talking outside would be a problem because the neighbors had their windows open. The outdoor area was amazing, the sound of the waterfall in the pool was so relaxing, the kids enjoyed the slide and the adults enjoyed the BBQ which we used almost every night! Overall, I would recommend staying here if you can be quite at night or don't want to use the outside amenities at night.

Kevin the owner had great communication throughout this whole process. His welcome website had all the detailed info you need. We had a great comfortable stay at this beautiful house. All photos and info listed about the house was very accurate. They do a really great clean prior to new guests. All the amenities of the house were great. The pool, slide, and hot tub were perfect. The beds were super comfy and had extra mats and linens available. We loved the extra blankets that we used for hanging out in the living room. The house did not having an ironing board, or iron, but after contacting the owner- he dropped off a new set - thank you! Just a few notes though: The kitchen frying pans could be updated. Possibly a larger pot too in the case of cooking large amounts of food the larger families. The house only had salt and pepper, so we bought a few more seasonings and cooking oil, hopefully they leave it for new guests. I was told there were extra paper towels and toilet paper but only had refills of toilet paper so we had purchase more. There could be more mirrors in the rooms. There was the bathrooms ones and 2 others. Many had to get ready in the living room where there was one other mirror. Possibly full length ones would be better. The bathroom with the laundry machines was spacious but the shower knob was very difficult to turn. Guests may have a hard time turning the shower on and off. Also the shower doors were very hard to open and close.

We recently stayed here for a 5 day trip to San Diego (close drive to the Zoo, Legoland & SeaWorld). Everything listed on the rental listed was exactly as described. The kids and adults both had an AMAZING time. It is close to the freeway, and easy to access several grocery stores, and fast food/restaurant when needed/wanted. The pool and slide was more amazing than we imagined, and the house had everything we needed. We definitely plan on returning for several trips and look forward to staying here again.

We had a great family getaway at this house, that kept us occupied with an amazing pool and sport activity lawns. Ducked away to the nearby Santee Drive-in theater for a fun nighttime movie as well. Entire accomodations process was smooth. Perfect spot for my family (three generations, ages 10-80)

We had such an amazing time at this house. The backyard and pool are even better than the photos, we spent many hours out there. The layout of the house was perfect for our 3 families of kids, teens, and adults. Nice size gathering area with the kitchen and living room. The location was great, we were a short drive to all the things we wanted to do. Communication with Kevin was easy and we had no problems. We really loved our stay and everyone is already talking about coming back. Thank you!

It worked out overall fantastic for our family group. Golf, swimming pool amazing, pool table, fireplace bedrooms great size, large family gathering room. Everything combined to be very comfortable and accommodating. A few small details by the owner will make this top rated. Need lock on pool pump area. Keep property next door clean from debris. Must have a gate at the front sidewalk area to prevent small children from wandering into the driveway and street. We would do it again. Felt that the extra cost of heating the pool was unwarranted for such a high rental price.

My family all flew down to San Diego for my fathers celebration of life. We all stayed at this rented home very comfortably. It was very nice and clean. It was nicely decorated with all the amminities of home. The pool and hot tub are beautiful, we played pool and cornhole cooked and was very thankful to be able to all stay together only a few miles from my brother.it is centrally located and in a nice neighborhood.

Apart from not having the pool not being heated and the water inside the house not warm or hot. It was a wonderful experience and stay for the kids and family. Kevin was very good about getting back to me right away and addressing the issues that we were having. Great host. We had some issues with the pool not being heated and when it was heated the water inside the house was cold. Apart from this everything was wonderful. Thank you for giving our family the opportunity to make wonderful memories in this lovely home! First Xmas without snow and the cold.
