Nestled in Yucca Valley, this attractive house for $184 per night is a great choice for your next break. Recently featured on the CBS show Staycation! Ventana Cove was custom built to provide the perfect desert vacation. The living space features an open plan design with a plush low line sofa and a bright wingback chair that sit opposite the wall mounted 55" 4K TV with access to Netflix, Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime Video to keep everyone entertained. For additional guests, the sofa can fold down to create a sleeping space as well as a queen size air mattress that can be provided upon request. Slide open the bifold window to create an indoor-outdoor bar where you can serve up breakfast smoothies using the ninja blender or brew up a pot of coffee with your choice of a coffee maker or the French press using local aromatic Joshua Tree Coffee Company and tea. Create your next culinary masterpiece within the high-end gourmet kitchen that comes fully equipped with everything you could need and offers stunning views of the mountains while you cook. There is an oversize French door fridge with a filtered water and ice dispenser, a free-standing oven and stovetop, a microwave and a dishwasher to handle all the cleaning up. Dine inside at the modern dining table set for four, sit at the bar or eat alfresco style out on the patio with a rustic dining table under the retractable canopy to keep you out of the sun. There are three spacious bedrooms within the cove that are all separate from each other and feature huge “La Cantina” door walls that open out into the patio creating a seamless flow from one room to the other. Each of the bedrooms have their own private ensuite bathroom with luxurious rain fall showers and vanities stocked with all the essentials. The two master suites are filled with large memory foam king beds topped with hotel quality linen and bedding while the 3rd bedroom doubles as a studio where guests can roll out the ping pong table or open up the massive glass garage door to create the perfect space for a workout or to practice yoga. Then at night, drop down the comfortable memory foam queen size murphy bed for a restful night’s sleep. Wander over to the elevated lounge deck with its inviting hanging chairs. Take a dip in the cool cowboy tub with stunning panoramic views of the mountains, then take a nap or read a book on of the relaxing hammocks under the shade of the Joshua trees. When night falls, light up the fire pit at the push of a button and enjoy the company of friends before retiring to the 6-person hot tub where you can Airplay your favorite songs through the multi-zone Sonos audio system. Watch a movie or put on the game with a huge new 75" TV above the hot tub or just lay back with a drink in hand and gaze up at the crystal clear night sky glittered with millions of stars. So for a unique, high-end desert home that is an experience all in itself, look no further than Ventana Cove for your next escape to Joshua Tree. EV Vehicle? There's an outdoor outlet right next to the Carport for easy trickle charging. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire house as well as free Wi-Fi, free parking, complimentary coffee and access to streaming apps on the smart TV. It must be signed prior to check-in. Pet fee is $25 per pet per night (included in the booking fee when pets are added to the reservation). Extra Guests after 2 are $25 per guest per night. Full cost is reflected in the booking rate when total guests and pets on the reservation is correct.

We had a group of 5 adults and 3 furry companions that was looking for a great place to stay relatively close to Pioneertown to check out a show at Pappy's and Ventana Cove checked every single box we could have hoped for. Super easy check in process and Matthew was very quick to respond to the few questions I had. The kitchen is almost better equipped than my own house and I cook a ton. It has every pot/pan and seasoning you'd need to prepare group meals. The beds were SUPER comfortable. Like 4-5 star hotel caliber. and the media setup was amazing, with super fast WiFi. This place is definitely on my radar for future visits.

My girlfriend and I had the best gateway so far, we are big on views so we really enjoyed watching the sunset, the stars, and city lights. The jacuzzi hit the spot and so did the outdoor fireplace , kept us warm while we enjoyed the views , we will definitely be going back soon for some more romantic time , Matthew was an awesome and responsive host

In one sentence, Ventana Cove is absolutely amazing and stunning in every aspect. While the house is truly situated in a wild desert setting, arriving there should be no issue even after sunset as there is only about 0.5 miles of unpaved road to it. I still recommend driving with caution once you are off the paved. One of the things I personally enjoyed the most is the unique, modern architecture of the house which seamlessly presents an outdoor dining area adjacent to all three bedrooms as well as the kitchen. You will presumably spend the most time there especially at night as there is a hot tub now with a gigantic 75" TCL Roku TV mounted on the wall. Make sure to read the house guide thoroughly prior to your trip to maximize the use of what the house has to offer; you do not want to miss any of those. For some reason, the place felt a bit smaller than it looks from the pictures, but it was supplied with enough bedrooms and great amenities to easily accommodate a large-sized group without inconvenience. Last but not least, Matthew is a top-notch host who had made himself highly available and easy to communicate with at all times during our stay. In my opinion, Ventana Cove is already close to perfection; however, I would not be surprised to see further improvements or added features by Matthew in the future. The experience is worth every penny, and I will definitely take my family there again as an opportunity arises.

Our group of 4 adults and 4 tween/teens had a great time. The ping pong, hottub, and outdoor areas were perfect for relaxation at sunset. The beds were very comfortable. The 3rd bedroom was perfect for 2- squeezing in the other 2 was a stretch but glad we did it.

Quite possibly, one of the most relaxing, laid-back, comfortable experiences I have ever had with VRBO. Nick, the owner, was pleasant and accessible every step through the process. We even had a good laugh over confusion I had with the bedroom door locks (lol). And, the house just speaks for itself. Gorgeous! Exactly as you see it in the photos--elegantly decorated, modern, and impeccably clean. The beds are very comfortable--even the Murphy bed. Blankets everywhere which were so convenient when star gazing at night. Wonderfully stocked kitchen, good water pressure, lovely fire pit, comfy hammocks, etc. My favorite features are the accordion window in the kitchen that opens up to the center patio (for morning coffee and Happy Hour), the swing chair next to the cowboy tub (read a whole book in it), and of course, the terrific jacuzzi. Someone comes to service it TWICE weekly, giving us confidence that everything was super clean. This was truly the perfect house to spend time in while absorbing the rustic beauty of the desert and decompressing from hectic city life. My small group enjoyed ourselves so much, I already booked another stay over a long weekend. Thanks again, Nick, for hosting us!
