It is lovely and big. The sun porch was a joy. Our adult son loved the lounge. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had all we needed. Jamie was a great host
The only downside for me was not having a loo upstairs

Jamie is an excellent host, the house is very spacious and well furnished. We even used the crabbing lines and boules. It was a lovely welcome with the fire going. We loved sitting in the conservatory and the children enjoyed watching the sheep

The gorgeous Machair House offers an excellent, homey feeling. It is charmingly and cosily decorated. Offers all necessary commodities and with its spacious layout grants enough room to let the traveler breathe comfortably and come to profound rest. Beautifully cared for, which one can really feel and which adds to the general positive effect, the island itself can have on someone. Would 10/10 recommend and hope to visit again.
