We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better host or a better stay. From the moment we arrived, Colette was absolutely incredible. She was so welcoming, helpful and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
The place itself was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented, with absolutely everything we could have needed for a comfortable stay, every little detail had been thought about.
We were even greeted with some lovely snacks and drinks waiting for us on arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch after a long journey and immediately made us feel at home.
Colette was also fantastic when it came to recommendations. She gave us some great ideas for places to visit and things to do, which really helped us make the most of our stay. She even went out of her way to give us a lift to the vineyard tour that we had booked, which was incredibly kind and something she absolutely didn’t have to do.
We had a small issue with the hot tub during our stay, but even then, Colette couldn’t have been more helpful. She responded incredibly quickly, got everything sorted for us and even topped the water up. It's clear that she genuinely cares about you having a great experience!
It’s rare to come across someone who puts so much effort into making their guests feel looked after. The hospitality was second to none, the accommodation was immaculate, and the little thoughtful touches made such a difference.

Beautiful and very personable feel to it. Beautifully decorated and lovely complimenting fixtures and accessories. Cozy comfortable and a romantic feel too with the outside area,hot tub and pretty lighting. Colette was the perfect host, giving priceless info on local sites, restaurants and places of interest, even went out of her way to give us a lift into York. A lovely lady with a beautiful soul!! WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK MULTIPLE TIMES

Colette was a very welcoming host and owner of Cosy Garden and very thoughtful in leaving snacks , tea & coffee if we needed when we arrived. We needed a few days away to relax . The Cosy Garden was just so relaxing the accommodation was clean very stylish and decorated the bed was very comfortable and the shower was lovely and warm. It was a very pretty garden with a seating area and a hot tub. With wanting to see as much of York as possible in a short time the Cosy Garden is only 5 minutes away to the Park and ride which we used to go to York Centre to do sight seeing and visiting some of the attractions. After a day of sight seeing etc it was so good to come back to this lovely accommodation to relax in comfort. There is so much to see in York we will have to come back and stay again at Cosy Garden.
