Lovely cottage in a perfect location for Bakewell. It's a little tired but perfect for what we needed.
No parking. You can park on a single yellow line outside the house from 6pm to 8am. However it's a busy enough road so we left our car in the town and did the 10 mins walk back to the house.
House was equipped fine. Could have done with kitchen towelling though!

The parking was horrendous and if your not fit and well the walk up the hill took your breath

Location was good; within easy walking distance of the town.
Safe enclosed courtyard for our dog.
The bedrooms were nicely decorated.
Very tired bathroom, with tiles falling off the front surround and peeling paint on the ceiling. It was very cramped for even one person.
For four eating at the kitchen table it meant you had to pull out the table and manoeuvre around it.
No hand soap provided in the kitchen or bathroom. No j-cloth or washing up liquid in the kitchen. Those are the basics for a cottage rental.
The lounge could have done with a coat of paint.
The cottage is opposite the church and our friends were kept awake all night with the bells.
