Calm location very nice host.
Additional charges for hot tub and BBQ…which hasn’t been advertised more clearly when the property picture gives wrong impression.

We loved absolutely EVERYTHING! The location, the property, the hot tub, the views, the little treats on arrival, the peacefulness, the darkness at night, the sound of the river, and farm animals, the Hosts were kind, friendly and welcoming.
A few minutes drive away is a village where you can get pretty much anything you might need. Westend Cafe, & JTs Chip shop were our particular favourites for food. There is a co op a little further the otherside of the village for more food.
We cannot fault anything, and there wasn't anything not to like.

When we decided to undertake our first trip to Wales, we were quite clueless about what to expect. However, one thing was certain—we wanted to experience the Welsh countryside in its purest and most authentic form. Choosing Cwmgwn Farm turned out to be the perfect decision.
The cottage is beautiful and set in stunning surroundings, exactly what we were looking for. It offers a charming rustic ambience while providing all the modern comforts and amenities needed for a relaxing stay. We loved watching the cattle grazing peacefully throughout the day, taking evening walks to a serene river just five minutes away, and unwinding in the hot tub after long days of trekking and exploring.
The views were simply breathtaking. Watching the sunset over the river and mountains was a magical experience, and being able to enjoy it from the comfort of the hot tub made it even more special.
What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, were the hosts, Liz and Stuart. Our morning and evening chats with them were filled with fascinating stories and insights into the history of the area. They made us feel less like guests and more like family. Their warmth, kindness, and hospitality are truly unmatched.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone planning to visit this part of Wales—not only for the stunning location and wonderful accommodation but also for the opportunity to meet such incredible hosts.
