The condo is literally 50 feet from the pool and beach access and that was AMAZING. Waking up every morning to hearing the waves, and being able to take a 2 minute walk to the beach was the best ever. The beach area itself almost felt like a private beach. It wasn’t a busy area, lots of space to spread out and was very clean. There aren’t any life guards or towers in this area, just FYI. The pool area was also super close to the condo and was very clean and relaxing. They had lots of chairs out on the deck with umbrellas to relax under. The building and parking lot felt very secure. It’s in a nice quiet area, away from the boardwalk and tourist areas. The people living there were super friendly and helpful. The condo is pretty spacious, we had 4 adults during our stay. I did notice there was a blow up mattress and extra sheets in the master closet, however, no way to blow the air mattress up.
When we first walked in, we found 4 rather large cockroaches. They were dead or dying, but that was disappointing. The condo over all could use a deep clean. We turned a ceiling fan on high in the master bedroom and dust flew everywhere. There was urine caked on the toilet seat when I put the toilet lid down. There was a strong moldy/dirty water smell coming from the washing machine. I bought washing machine cleaning packets and used 3 of them before I was able to get the smell out to wash our clothes and towels. The lobby is INCREDIBLY hot, and our condo was right next to the trash room. The smell would blow in sometimes and make the entire condo stink. The furniture is worn down pretty good and the beds were not comfortable. The condo overall is fine, but could definitely use some updating. If you are planning a stay here, plan to bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, laundry stuff, dishwasher pods, cleaning materials, and broom. It would have been nice to be able to sweep up all the sand we tracked in from the beach.
