Tutto più che eccellente!!
Mia figlia usufruisce da circa 6 anni e con una frequenza di 4/6 volte l’anno di appartamenti “Bed and Breakfast” in Italia e in Europa e dopo aver trascorso 1 settimana a Catania, ospite di questa struttura “Casa Fabio” gestita da Irene e Salvo, riferisce di non aver mai avuto un’esperienza così eccellente!
Appartamento semplicemente impeccabile sotto qualsiasi aspetto:pulizia, arredamento, agibilità, posizionamento e disponibilità aldilà di ogni più rosea aspettativa.
All’arrivo , mia figlia è stata :
-Prelevata all’aeroporto da Irene
-Accompagnata all’appartamento e fatta entrare in anticipo nonostante il check in fosse previsto alcune ore più tardi
-Durante il tragitto Irene ha indicato a mia figlia i luoghi più rilevanti da vedere in città, le possibilità di shopping, di trasporto pubblico e molte altre informazioni utili.
Nonostante gli esorbitanti costi del carburante, Irene e Salvo SI SONO RIFIUTATI DI PRENDERE UN COMPENSO PER IL TRASPORTO DALL’AEROPORTO!
Per qualsiasi esigenza Irene e Salvo sono stati a disposizione 24H/7 !
Io sono stato in contatto telefonico dalla Germania con Salvo e grazie al suo supporto e consiglio sono riuscito ad organizzare in 24 ore una escursione sull’Etna per il giorno dopo, nonostante in questo periodo della stagione siano necessari almeno 4/5 giorni di anticipo, a causa dell’alta affluenza turistica.
Per un’esperienza così eccellente, in una scala da 1 a 10, io credo appropriato dare 11 , poiché ci sono molte altre attenzioni, gentilezze e premure di cui Irene e Salvo si sono presi cura pur non essendone tenuti a farlo.

The studio apartment is brand new and well appointed. everything needed for a short stay is there. The hosts are absolutely exceptional. I was allowed to check in early, and all kinds of assistance were offered, water, coffee and tea, and cold drinks provided for free. The residential area is quiet, and whilst the centre of Catania is some walk away (almost 20 min walk for an average walker, or 15 eur by cab), a good supermarket, a bakery, and a fruit stall are just a block away. There is also a bar withing the same distance but I have not visited it.
I did not have any issues. Some might wonder about the retractable sofa bed, but I am an old and obese man, and I slept well and comfortably on it for 3 nights.

Irene and Salvo were incredibly hospitable, going so far as to drive to the central station to pick me up when I arrived! The apartment looked amazing and also smelt wonderful and it was fully stocked with everything you could need including filtered water, milk, juice, aircon and even a space light projector! The bathroom was perfect and I felt very looked after the whole time I was there.
