The location was perfect. Trees screened the only neighbouring house and there were wonderful uninterrupted views down to the river and across to the mountain ridge beyond. No light pollution at all come nightime. Yet just three minutes along paved roads into town. The conservatory and aga meant the house felt toasty warm (although it was summertime). The hot-tub was up to temperature and well placed for stargazing. Two ensuites and a bathroom suited us well. The stunning views of the loch made up for the 20m journey time between Killin and Kenmore. Killin itself is very relaxed with several good places to eat.
The large lounge, kitchen, conservatory and outside seating meant there was plenty of space and separation for communal and individual social activity.
The aga took a little bit of working out but we adapted in the end (main issue being grilling). The towels were slightly small and I would recommend bringing your own if using the hottub. We couldn't find passwords for streaming channels but as we had brought a firestick with us this wasn't a problem we felt we needed to ask Caroline about. These were just very minor points in what was otherwise a perfect stay and are only mentioned to allow future guests to come prepared.

It has absolutely everything we could possibly need for our stay. Everything was of exceptional quality and was immaculate.
Had a bit of bother trying to work the AGA cooker. Did follow instructions but got there eventually. It was a beautiful feature and heated up the kitchen really well though.
