Inviting & comfortable!

Very inviting beautiful decorated great for a group! Great USNA location. Spacious! Brand new 24 hr garage steps away from house. Property contact Liz was very helpful and responsive.

Three-story home lots of steep stairs, if you have elderly I wouldnt recommend.

We felt lucky to have been able to share a few nights in this incredible home!

The owners of this property are extremely generous in opening their gorgeous, extremely well-appointed home to travelers. We were four adults with diverse interests and we all very much enjoyed spending evenings chatting in the wide range of conversational areas, sitting around the fireplace having wine in quality glasses and playing the terrific variety of board games. The home is very comfortably appointed, with high quality linens and great hot water pressure in the bathrooms on all floors. The kitchen is a dream and we wish we were able to host our families for a big dinner together, but unfortunately the house was far too cold to have 90 year old people sitting around. We would stay here again in an instant though!

We stayed during a bitter cold wave and the heating of the home was not adequate to heat the house. We spent the first day and night in coats and scarves as the thermometers were only reading 53 degrees inside. After calling the management to see if something was wrong, they sent a HVAC person to review the heating system and a day after that the house was finally at 60 degrees. Also, there were no instructions on how to lock the front door of this amazing place. The instrucitons given over the phone by the management company did not work - four of us well educated adults tried over dozens of times to lock the front door, and the cleaning lady on the final day could not lock the door either - we were forced to lock the front door from the inside, and then depart from the side door that we locked and then jumped over the neighbors spiikey and rusty fence to get to the front of the house, not something to be done carelessly! Lastly, two of the bedrooms did not have adequate means to block the street lights and neighbor's lights from shining into the bedrooms. The top floor bedroom was missing drapes over the window and the middle floor had no shades or drapes at all over the bedrooms - this made sleeping really difficult for the person in that room no matter how comfortable the room was otherwise.
