Loved the quirkyness with bananas growing in the garden and local decorations. Easy access to lagoon. Felt very Polynesian. Friendly owners.

J ai adoré le côté authentique du Fare, tout ouvert, le charme des meubles, la décoration unique. La situation a 5 min à pied de la plage et des commerces! L accueil de David et lowina.

Rustic accommodations in the back house of a family compound. No screens, no air conditioning. I guess it was an authentic experience in a thatched hut. Hosts were eager to please and very outgoing and wanted to make sure we were well attended to. Directions were provided but still it was not an easy location to find.
Accommodations are rustic and room does not have screens on the windows or doors and there is no A/C. If camping is your thing then this hut might be for you. It was not our idea of a good time. We did not like the nearby beach that you could walk to.
