It was warm and inviting. The opportunity to enjoy a piece of living history was wonderful.

Older building with many upgrades. Excellent decor. Very good breakfast. Very good and comfortable common rooms to enjoy. And most important a very comfortable bed so we slept very well.
Unfortunately the weather cannot be controlled so we could not enjoy the common area outside. Otherwise we were near a busy intersection on a Saturday night.

Location was best for our purposes.. breakfast choices were good.
There were a lot of stairs to our room.. should have stayed on a lower level

Hosts were exceedingly accommodating of our (multiple) changes in plans, gave us the Booking.com rate even when booking directly, and we appreciated that very much!!
There was no breakfast available at the store next door, as promised in the property description. That should be edited immediately! Entire facility smells of cigarette smoke, esp. the common areas downstairs and the upstairs porch (where multiple ashtrays can be found)
