The home is very comfortable and has everything you could need for a great stay. It could use some updating and better cleaning. Nonetheless, we had a nice time and loved the area and view of the creek!

Place was as listed. Beautiful view. Great location for HITS Horse shows. Felt a bit dusty/cobwebby/hadn’t been used in a while. But we were just there for a horse show so we didn’t need anything fancy. However, it seemed like the hot water heater was on the fritz. The first night after a very long horse show day, I showered after my husband and had a cold shower….no hot water. The next morning, I got up super early to shower quickly so we could have at least an hour between showers to ensure hot water for both. That worked, but timing out showers with at least an hour of downtime in between is not always an option. That evening we had dinner plans so had to shower back to back. The second shower was lukewarm. The next morning, I showered first and the hot water was already lacking. By the second shower, no hot water after the first minute. We reached out to the property managers and the only response we received was that they had not had that complaint in the past. If you are considering renting, I would check on the hot water heater situation first!

The property was in an excellent location: within walking distance to downtown Saugerties on a lovely, quiet part of the creek (which is really more like a lake). The house has everything you would want in a vacation home: a beautiful view of the water, near a number of great Hudson Valley towns and great trails for hiking and cycling, and kayaks with life jackets. The home was a little dusty upon our arrival and that’s the only thing I would like to see improved. Otherwise, we would love to stay there again!

We are 2 seniors. Front door could not be used. Difficulty Navigating the rear door steps and going through the garage and then up a tall stairwell with only a partial handrail was challenging. Listing should make it more clear of potential accessibility challenges. Loved the view

Owners communicated promptly with any questions we had. House was super clean and looked as the pictures showed. The neighborhood was quiet and the view of the creek/river is amazing! We kayaked and enjoyed the fire pit. I would recommend highly for a group of 4!

Was a great place to stay while we were visiting for the Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck. Nice creek view. Good location to check out Saugerties as well as other near-by towns Kingston, Rhinebeck, Woodstock. Very clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable beds.

This house was a great place to stay with a group of friends. The big windows are the biggest perk, with a beautiful view of the river. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard, cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, and we slept comfortably in the beds. When I had questions, the host and property manager responded promptly.

Such a wonderful and magical property right on the river and a stone’s throw from adorable downtown Saugerties. Our family had a blast here. Accommodations were just as pictured. The house has been fully renovated and really well decorated. All essentials are provided and more, including all things needed for young children. It definitely feels like a home away from home. Our view of the river while having dinner was a total highlight. The windows are amazing. We took the kayaks with our two young boys and swam in the evening, it was spectacular. Highly recommend- we will definitely be returning for another stay, hopefully longer next time.
