The rooms, pool and deck outside the rooms at Awesome place were amazing. It was go nice sitting on the outside swing reading. The staff were superb - Nisal was a real standout and was always making sure we had everything we needed. We ate in one night and the curry prepared by the chef was the best I have had in Sri Lanka so far.
Unfortunately there is road works at the moment which makes it a little hard to access but the hotel was happy to meet your driver at the top of the road with a tuk tuk. The hotel is about a 20 min drive from town so its not easy to pop backwards and forwards - particularly with the current road works.

Our host was very attentive ensuring we had an excellent stay. We had a fabulous view of the mountains and countryside from the restaurant and pool area. The location is out of town. quite a ride away and then a tuk tuk down to the hotel. if you want tranquility and views this is perfect.
it was probably too quiet for us. we travelled with our 2 adult sons who would have liked the nightlife in Ella.

The staff was really nice, the food was absolutely delicious every time. Is was really nice waking up to the view. Super peaceful.
We did not do our research and booked thinking is was close to Ella. It’s about 30 min from all activities. The rooms do need a bit of a refresher.
