The Residence is ideal for people who like to hike but also sleep somewhere very cosy and comfortable. We had a lovely stay in here, beautifully set up full of quirky antiques and memorabilia. A beautiful court yard setting with plenty of space for dog to have a great run around. Kitchen well equipped with everything you need also plenty of tea, filtered coffee, milk, biscuits, wine, beer and cheese board 😉) WiFi, great signal.
Allows 1 dog but we had two assistance dogs and there was no any problem for Susan to let us stay.
Great location, perfectly clean and tidy, very stylishly presented and above all our host Susan was so welcoming, nothing was too much bother and she projected an aura of being genuinely interested in us and let us checked out little bit later.
The house was nice and warm.
Gorgeous countryside and a nice beach up the coast at Whitehaven.
35 minutes drive to Keswick or Scafel Pike but also a lot other nice places to visit, supermarkets, cafes etc which you find all informations in the book that is in the kitchen.
This is the place to stay If you look for a warm, cosy, quiet place to stay!
Sad to be leaving but will return.
