The communication and information from the host was excellent. The lodge had everything we needed including an air fryer, oven, fans, travel cot and even a cool bag which came in handy for our trips out as we stayed during the heatwave. There were games and books too which we enjoyed using
The park was fully booked but didn't feel busy. The lodge is in a lovely quiet spot but just a short walk from the park and restaurant. Being able to walk out of the back gate into the new forest with all of the horses and ponies was an added bonus.

Beautiful lodge, spotlessly clean, everything you could possibly need. Right by the side of a small lake with ducks and water lillies and early morning deer on the site, and a very peaceful location.
Only 8 miles from Lyndhurst and literally right next to the New Forest with ponies and donkeys roaming free.
A TV in the double bedroom would have been nice but thats my own personal preference.

Idyllic setting overlooking the fishing lake. Really peaceful. The owner has thought of everything, from toys and games to teas, coffees. Very comfortable lodge and beautiful balcony to watch nature; seeing 7 deer out of the window on our last morning was amazing!
Everything was just perfect!
One little thing to consider-perhaps having a parasol.
