One of the most privileged neighborhoods in the center of Madrid. The apartment is fantastically located less than five minutes from Plaza de Cibeles. In the heart of a part of Madrid where the most prestigious buildings belonging to the 1920s are located (Bank of Spain, Círculo de Bellas Artes…). In the Barrio de las Letras, Huertas Street is dotted with quotes from former residents, such as Cervantes and Lope de Vega, whose house is now a museum. Nearby, the tree-lined Paseo del Prado leads to the famous Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. There are tapas bars with crowded terraces in Plaza de Santa Ana. With an area of 75 square meters this fabulous apartment has a very good layout. The room, with an en-suite bathroom, is spacious, equipped with a huge built-in wardrobe and a great quality double bed, essential for a good night's sleep. The apartment is exterior and takes advantage of all the daylight. Of course, very well thought out, the other two rooms with double beds face an interior patio so they are very quiet. The windows are climalit, noise proof and sudden changes in temperature. The crib is subject to availability. Please advise at least 5 days in advance. Air conditioning in the living room. To consider: Respect: For the purpose of a good coexistence and respect for neighbors and residents, this apartment is equipped with a 24-hour noise monitoring system. Guests are required to comply with the established rest hours at all times. The check-in process implies a mandatory online registration of each guest, prior to accessing the apartment. It will be essential to have a mobile device and internet on the phone to access the apartment. Please contact our team 48 hours before your arrival and carefully follow the instructions made available to you at all times. Access to the apartment: this apartment is located within the area called MADRID CENTRAL with restricted access to road traffic. Keep in mind that, to access the apartment in a private vehicle, you must have the corresponding approval from the Municipal Directorate General of Traffic (DGT). Family of four (two adults & two teenagers) visiting from Los Angeles second week of June '23. This property is located between the Prado and the Plaza Mayor, and an easy walk to both. There's also a small grocery store right across the street. The location is ideal if you plan to see the three world-class art museums. The A/C works great. And, very good customer service when we needed things. The bedrooms are a bit small by U.S. standards, but we hardly spent any time in the apartment. The apartment was very clean upon our arrival. We would definitely stay in this unit again!

The property met all our needs, including a drying rack for our laundry, and comfortable beds. Getting into the apartment was problematic for us and others who were staying in the building. You have to look into the camera for it to unlock, which was not readily apparent until we had tried everything else. Even then, sometimes we could not get the door to the building to open. Maybe it needs to be adjusted? The other issue was scalding hot water that we could not seem to adjust to a cooler setting in the showers. We did not change any water heater settings, but all that would come out was scalding hot water. The air conditioning worked great, beds were comfortable, and it was very quiet at night.

The property is in a great location. It was clean and perfect for friends to have a private bedroom and an area to hang out together. Opening the main doors was a little tricky and a bathroom and a bedroom door didn’t latch closed. Otherwise fantastic!
