The hotel is a "classic" hotel with a lot of character. The staff at the lobby and bar/dining area were very nice and helpful.

Stayed one night, and found staff very accommodating. Room had a fridge & microwave, and very clean. Very convenient to all stores as located downtown at the Square.

The was our first time staying at the Bedford Inn, and it was a great place to stay. It is located right downtown in the square which made it convenient to walk everywhere. The young lady at check-in was very friendly, and helpful by asking if this was our first time there, and then explained the in-out privileges during the later hours. The rooms and the entire hotel are obviously dated because it was built in 1892, however everything was clean and fresh, and the beds were very comfortable. The overall historical appearance, the winding staircase, and the squeaky floors added to the charm of this hotel. There are 3 floors and no elevators, and the breakfast was fine; just the basics. I will be staying here from now when visiting Goderich just because of its convenient location, and the price.
