The breakfast was served perfectly, well organised and lots of varieties of food to choose from. The lay out was done really well. The hotel staff were excellent from the doorman up to maintenance department.

The beautiful views, the room’s bath tub, the pool, food choices and the front desk help.
The spa had an offer available, but when I went to book, they said they no longer had it available. Yet, there were promotion flyers everywhere for this specific service? Then, my first night after the plane I wanted a hour massage. Due to them closing in a hour, they denied me service. They were open? Also, the house keeping charged me for an extra water I did not drink, and try to make me pay for a towel I cleaned watermelon juice up with. Guess I should’ve left the mess.

Everything was nice and clean
The chased me out the door over a 10 cent teaspoon. I went back in the room and found it. I would have rather paid the 10 cents

The views from our Junior Suite were excellent, which was the main reason we chose that room category. The room itself was spacious and the hotel has some nice facilities. Staff were pleasant when we spoke with them.
Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of what I would expect from a hotel advertised as 5-star.
The biggest issue was the air-conditioning. Our room consistently sat between 27–28.5°C despite the A/C running. We raised this with staff and were told it was because it was hot outside, with fans being the best solution they could offer. We ended up keeping the curtains closed for much of our stay trying to help the room cool down, which rather defeated the purpose of paying extra for a Junior Suite with a view.
The hallways and elevators were also not air-conditioned and were extremely hot.
Breakfast was average and certainly didn't feel 5-star. Some of the pastries were particularly disappointing and soggy.
The pool was generally nice, but on one day there was an extremely unpleasant smell coming from the water — genuinely as though something had died in it — which made it very unappealing to use.
Overall, there are some good aspects to the property, but calling it a 5-star resort creates an expectation that simply wasn't met during our stay. Reliable air-conditioning in Da Nang should be a basic expectation at this level, not something guests have to supplement with portable fans.
