The apartment itself is very spacious, with three bedrooms and high windows. The shower was also good. The space definitely has potential.
Unfortunately, the apartment was very disappointing overall. It did not feel properly cleaned: the place looked as though it had not been vacuumed and the rugs were dirty. The whole apartment also felt quite worn and poorly maintained. Several things were broken, including some of the blinds, which did not work properly, and part of the toilet flush. There also wasn't a toilet brush, which seems like a very basic thing to provide in an apartment that can accommodate up to six people.
The apartment was also lacking some basic things. There were no dishwasher tablets, nor was there a sponge or washing-up brush to wash dishes by hand. The cutlery was also very cheap, small and flimsy, and unpleasant to use. If you rent an apartment with a kitchen, you expect to actually be able to cook and eat there comfortably. The sofa was extremely uncomfortable, and the bar stools were much too high for the kitchen island, making them uncomfortable to sit on as well.
The interior in general felt very random, as though very little thought or care had gone into furnishing the apartment. Of course, taste is subjective, but combined with the dirty rugs, uncomfortable furniture, broken items and lack of basic amenities, it made the whole place feel quite neglected.
There is also no Wi-Fi. This is mentioned in the listing, so it was not a surprise, but at this price point it does add to the feeling that very little is being offered. At around €180 per night, I expected a much better standard. The apartment has plenty of space and could be really nice, but it needs a thorough clean, better maintenance, decent furniture and kitchenware, and much more attention to the basics.
