Mold, electrical outages, broken AC

Please save yourself the time, money and headache and never book this property. We had a family of 8 including our two 88 year old grandparents stay at this property..the trouble at this property completely overtook our vacation. We had multiple electrical appliances that began smoking. (The surge protector burned the floor and the master bedroom fan smoked upstairs) We had not had AC since the first day of our stay. Multiple random people came to our property at times not approved by us to fix it..but no one actually fixed anything so there was no AC in 85° Florida weather the whole stay. The refrigerator as well as multiple other essential components of the house lost power. As a result food that we had spent money on spoiled. We had a guest with a medical device (CPAP) that was unable to sleep last night because of the lack of power. Significant health exposure risk due to the presence of mold in the downstairs restroom. The occupancy is not safe. We called for an emergency electrician and never heard back. Therefore, we checked out a day early because it was unsafe. This property is propped up my multiple third parties who can’t ever help you - booking.com tells you to contact the property management, the “guest contact” they give is someone contracted by the property management, then anytime you contact Evolve Property Management it takes you to an offshore call center where no one can see anything about your case. I have never had this happen before and it’s been incredible how much time I’ve spent trying to right these wrongs. I don’t wish this on anyone so please avoid.

It is a good spacious house well located. Hope the issues will be addressed before the next rental

The dishwasher was out of service with stagnant smelly water and the sink faucet was malfunctioning. These issues were not resolved during our 5 day stay. There were no wine glasses. There were no dishtowels to dry or lay out the manually washed dishes. The host responded to my messages but nothing was done. The wrong wifi password was communicated, then corrected after messaging.

Excellent property, efficient rental staff, easy access to Sarasota.

The home was immaculate, spacious, luxurious and well maintained.

It’s not easy getting out of the garage onto a Main Street.
