Part of the staff was kind and breakfast was ok
I changed the hotel I had chosen at the beginning for this one, reading nice reviews about it and wanting to find a clean and comfortable stay. However, the room is less spacious than what it looks like in the photos, and the cleanliness could be improved: first night I arrived I checked under the bed and there were dust, an empty can of Coke, a cap from a bottle of juice…. They stayed there during my whole stay because even if I had the cleaning staff coming in a couple of mornings, they just changed the bin bags and brought a bottle of water and fresh towels. The room is not sound proof , you can hear staff or other guests’ conversations, even at midnight or 1 am. The location is close to many restaurants and bazaars, but it’s very turistic and the surroundings can be intense, as the sellers around there are very pushy. If I go back to Turkey I’d choose a hotel in karakoy/asian part instead, for a quieter stay.
