Haus Salzburgblick (ehem. Haus Elisabeth)

The location was perfect. This B&B is located near the city of Salzburg, but you can move with public transports, that are very efficient! The breakfast was very special!

The host, Michaela, is really amazing and super friendly, she also gave us a lot of good tips on where to go etc. The room is very clean. The area looks really nice and is close to the bus that takes you quickly to the city center.

Unfortunately it was really hot when we were there. There were no good ventilators nor is there a/c. The host did try to make it comfortable for us by giving us some cooling solutions, but they were not able to cool enough. The room lacks window screens, so we were pretty badly bitten by mosquitoes.

Micaela is wonderful host. The rooms are superb with excellent views over Salzburg and the mountain ranges beyond. Breakfasts are superb and the location is ideal. Only a short walk to the bus stop and buses every 10 mins.

The price for the stay and the mountain view. The cleanliness of the room, sheets and towels. The quick response of the owner sending the Salzburg mobility link upon my request.

I would expect a much better breakfast such as home baked cakes and fresh bread. Although breakfast was included, we skipped the last 2 breakfasts due to its lack of quality. Besides, breakfast time during week days was from 07:30 to 09:00. The bed was not comfortable nor the pillows. The room was too hot on hot days - no air condition nor a fan. The owner did not advise me that tourists (who stay at Salzburg overnight), have the right to get a Mobility Card which gives access to free public transportation around the city. It is up to the hotel to send a link to their guests. I had to find it out myself. Before my departure to Austria, I sent the hotel a msg asking if we could have a swim on the lakes nearby and the answer I got from the hotel was that "upon my arrival, I'd have a table full of information about Salzburg"... If you have time for a swim, please bring your swimming suit because there are beautiful lakes where you can have amazing lake swims. If you're travelling with a trolley, the access to the hotel is not nice because you have to walk 10 min along a path with gravel. The other access to the hotel is by a road with no pedestrian walkway, which can be dangerous if you're arriving in the evening. Check out time is up to 10:00, quite early.
