The apartment is perfectly situated overlooking the less bustling part of the Royal Mile. The apartment itself was great for a couple.
The property itself was great. The hosts were not responsive. I had inquired about luggage storage well in advance of our stay - 1-2 weeks prior. No response. I inquired again 2 days prior. No response. When I did get a response, we were already on our tour and I had paid to store it through Stasher. I had to request that the hosts send check-in instructions. These did not include the location of the apartment so we wondered around looking for the entrance for a bit. Easy solution - it’s right next to Clarinda’s Tea Room!!
In addition, there was no ‘welcome’ folder when we arrived. We found the wifi password on the bottom of the router. No check out instructions. No instructions for the laundry machine (one wash load took over 2 hours!). No follow up on check out inquiring about our stay.
Overall, the apartment was nice. However, having stayed at many Airbnb’s and other apartment rentals, the hosts could definitely improve their communication and add some small things to make their guests feel welcome.

Great locale, clean, cute, comfy... Everything we needed.
Needs lighter blanket for summer, please. Needs to have a bit more instruction on location, as Google maps was wrong...it's above Clarindas tea shop, btw. The internet password was hard to find.

Location is great. Well equipped kitchen.
To optimize the small bedroom, we wanted to unpack into the dresser drawers. However all but one we're filled with host's supplies. Bathroom is a tight squeeze for moderately plus-size visitor.

we loved everything about the apartment. it’s spacious, clean, well equipped and decorated to a T! Owners Karen and Iggy are as nice as they can be!

The location was absolutely perfect. It is located on the Royal Mile. That is an extremely busy street. You can’t leave the bedroom window open at night because of all the traffic noise. But the windows block out all that noise.

The location was perfect for us. All the little extras within the property the likes of the robes and slippers, coffee and tea facilities. It was also a special birthday and there were balloons banners and chocolates laid out for us when we arrived. We loved the decor, basically we loved everything about the apartment.
We just had a small bit of difficulty finding the apartment but we had the owners phone number and she guided us to it.

Gorgeous little apartment. Everything was perfect. So cosy and very central. Karin the owner was very nice too. Will definitely stay again next time we are in Edinburgh

Location to attractions and bars/restaurants in Edinburgh. Car parking although quite expensive.
Noise from the road particularly throughout the night was very intrusive.

The apartment was in the ideal location for the city and plenty of shops, bars and food choices near by. The apartment had all the necessary kitchen equipment and lots of delivery options. The parking spot was easy to find and near the property. Access to the building was easy and clearly explained.
The apartment was opposite a primary school so it was very noisy in the morning. A very minor point but we weren’t a fan of the red toilet paper. Only things to fault with it as it was ideal. Thank you :)

This city apartment was in an excellent location, was decorated beautifully, was thoroughly clean and formed a perfect base for our week in Edinburgh. I have stopped in a number of self catering city apartments over the years, but never have I stopped in one with such high quality household appliances, furniture, towels and bedding. If you wished you could easily cook and eat an evening meal with what dinnerware, utensils and cutlery that was provided in the kitchen. I felt like staying in someone's cherished home.
Communication with the hosts after booking was excellent and the instructions regarding key collection and parking were clear and easy to follow. Parking is an add-on to the booking, but fairly priced and located just around the corner. Having this option is a real added bonus when staying in a city centre location.
I was exceptionally pleased with our stay here and would say the apartment was excellent value.
You would have to be very picky to write anything in this section!

Id really have liked a non slip mat for the shower and some over gloves
A lighter duvet would have been good as well

Lovely apartment in a good location. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and the hosts were very helpful.
An excellent stay and we'd definitely go back.
Everything was great. Only very minor things detracted slightly. No oven gloves. No pyrex bowl or dish. TV reception was a little iffy at times.
