Fantastic time

The view is amazing and the apartment is lovely and big. It is an uphill hike from the town and beach though and not for anyone who isn't fit to be honest. One of the bathrooms door is broken and so is the shower and shower door. We arrived very late and I think it would be nice to leave some milk in the fridge or a little welcome pack. Overall we loved our stay and Tossa is amazing!!

Come here for the VIEW and enjoy everything else

THE VIEW- absolutely breathtaking! Separate car garage on site- excellent Size of the apartment is way above average

All towels should be thrown out and immediately replaced. They feel very old and a bit like sandpaper, especially after a nice day at the beach. A lot of little things need attention, like a loose kitchen faucet or broken shower door (in the smaller bathroom).

This is a comfortable apartment in a beach town that is close to all amenties w/ a great view.

Excellent location that is 200 steps from the labyrinth of streets and beautiful beach below. Views from apartment were amazing. The balcony is a huge wraparound and provides alot of extra living space and beautiful views of the town, castle and beach. Washing machine on porch was a huge bonus if travelling with kids or for a longer stay. Host was easy to reach. Spacious main living area. Ample closet space in bedrooms for clothes. Parking spot was great and safe. Easy to walk to sites, beach, restaurants, stores. It is a 15 minutes drive from the highway and 70 minute drive from Barcelona. Close to other coastal towns along the Costa Brava.

Bathrooms are small but equipped. Showers are basic. Beds and pillows weren't too comfortable, they weren't terrible, but a better bed would make this a five star stay. There was a coffee maker but it is a hit and miss with it not destroying the capsules. Furnishings are neat and clean albeit slightly outdated. Garbages in bathrooms need to be bigger, they were tiny and filled up quickly.

Perfect views of Tossa de Mar

What we loved most was the view from the balcony...just beautiful!

We felt very uncomfortable using the 2nd bathroom, with the glass frosted door, since we were travelling with friends and you could see if someone was actually sitting on the toilet or using the shower or something else. It did not offer much privacy, in that aspect. It would be great if it could be replaced with a solid wooden door, like the 1st bathroom.

Unbeatable views, a wonderful stay

Waking up to the sun and the beautiful view in the morning, having breakfast on the balcony. So glad we chose to stay here. Had everything you could need for a great stay.

Nothing really, obviously the hike back up the hill to get home was a little tiring! But it was well worth it 😅

Great views from balcony

The apartment itself is just ok, but what is amazing is the view of the entire old town as well as the morning sunrises.

Coffee capsules for the coffee maker would have been appreciated, rather than us having to go buy some. The second bathroom is very tiny, so it seems to be made more for a child to use.

Perfect! Loved apartment and Tossa. In fact we are thinking of returning in 2023.

The terrace and view are wonderful. Excellent WIFI

The beds are very hard and we could have used more towels. Someone should mention how tiny the 2nd bathroom is. It is the size of a very small closet. But the apartment otherwise is very nice.

Unique, wonderful town and lovely apartment to view night scene

Location and view from the apartment was exceptional. Really quiet area but very close to the main town. Apartment was clean and spacious and the balcony was wonderful to sit out on in the evenings.

Amongst the nicest views we've seen so far

Amazing view, very friendly and accommodating host, close to everything, big for an apartment.

One must like climbing stairs to stay in this place. Kitchen could do with a few more things.

Superb

The views from the apartment are something amazing! The terrace is huge and if we were in summer time, or a bit earlier autumn when it is warm outside, we would probably spent all the time on the terrace. Both sunrise and sunset are so beautiful there! The apartment is very spacious and best would be for 5-6 people. It has everything you need for a good stay. Even though it is situated on the hill and you can see all the town below, the walking to the Old Town is just 9-12 minutes (there are stairs down right next to the building).

It is quite basic and if somebody doesn't like old kind of refurbishment, don't book this apartment. The kitchen probably would need to be renewed (tap in the kitchen was almost falling off). But the views are beating all the negatives :) Those who are sensitive sleepers would not like the fact, that in master bedroom the blinking light of the lighthouse is seen very well (even if you leave tiny space between blind curtains or door i slightly open).

Wonderful view but outdated appartement

The location and views were just fantastic! One of the best views you can have! Garage for car is a nice extra. 3 bedrooms is also nice to have. Outdoor terrace with views is wonderful. (for this only already we even stayed longer)

The appartement is indeed old, and it REALLY needs a renovation (again then maybe?) as almost everything is outdated or difficult to work well (Doors, shower windows, closets, the wind just blows through the windows when it's windy, kitchen, towels, crane....still a cup in coffeemachine and dirty knives in washer... ) A pitty that the girl who welcomed us, didnt speak any other language than spanish, so it's difficult to talk.... This appartement could be one of the best places ever, if it gets a NICE and good refreshment/renovation.

Very good

Spectacular place, very clean and with an excellent bed in the main bedroom (and good beds elsewhere). In spite of the place being very high up in the village, it is surprisingly close to the old town and a very pleasurable and short walk would take you to either of the two central beaches (granted, the cool weather of October made the walk back up the hill a non-issue and it might be a different affair in summer or with small children in push chairs...)

Though overall clean and equipped with all the right appliances, the kitchen is a bit old and could benefit from just a few more cooking utensils or basic items such as oil & vinegar, pepper or sugar.

Very good

Fantastic views over the city and sea, large spacious living room with large windows to enjoy the views, table with chairs on the terrace to have breakfast or a meal while enjoying the view. We had Alexa to play any type of music- nice touch. Staff was friendly.

Kitchen furniture and appliances could do with refurbishment as quite dated. Property had a garage, but we could not use it as it had a high rump to get in it. If you have 4x4 then it’s not a problem.

Beautiful view, but does not compensate the poor state of the apartament.

The view is magnificient. Location is very good. Host was very nice but it was not Alexandra.

The interior of the house is old and not well taken care of. There is a lot of things that require refreshing, or exchanging. It was not very clean. Windows were dirty. We got towels with a yellowish spots (!!!!!!!!). There was a dust in many places and dirt in the corners. Pillows require cleaning. Kitchen is very old must be 40 years old. There is a white calcium residue on the tiles and sink and worktops. It was not a pleasure to cook there. In the bathrooms there is a mold on the tiles. We stayed there because we have only been 2 days, and we didn't have strenght to look for another place with a small baby, but definately it was not worth the price we payed.

Good

Fantastic view of beach and castle. Restaurants and supermarkets within walking distances. Friendly and accommodating host. Spacious apartment and balcony with several seatings and tables. Two bathrooms.

Some furniture of the kitchen and some doors quite old. Doors need to be fixed.

Wonderful!

Excellent location with great view from the terrace over the entire city and the sea. The apartment was very clean and had all necessary amenities for a wonderful stay.
