Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will stay here again, especially since our grandkids moved to Hollister. We have two complaints. There’s not much to watch on the TV. We don’t expect to have all the streaming channels offered, but we were hoping to cast from our own devices to the TV in the room. Also, there isn’t enough counter space in the bathroom to keep shower necessities.

Coffee was horrible in the lobby and in the coffee machine. They maids made up my friends bed the next day. But they didn’t make mine. Front desk wouldn’t take a visa gift card. Had to use my regular Visa card that I use daily. These things are huge for a traveler like me. Ugh

We arrived back at the hotel at 2pm after a 5 hour hike. There was no hot water for our showers. We said something at the desk. When we returned from dinner later that evening, still no hot water. We were told that’s just the way it is when they have a full house.

The guests upstairs were so loud. They had a child whom they allowed to run and jump around. Even running down the hallway. We didn't get much sleep either night. Probably won't stay here again and will stay at Fairmont across the way.

The property was nice, it is fairly new and kept nice and clean. When we got to our room it was very cold. My daughter turned on the thermostat and no luck. I went to the wall heater and was able to get some heat, but never got very warm. We looked for more blankets and no extras in the room. So I thought I would get a hot shower and warm up. The bathroom was ice cold and the water not much warmer! I liked the hotel but was very disappointed in the lack of warmth! Note: I didn't call the front desk and ask if we could change rooms, I think they would of had us do that if possible. I didn't want to change rooms, we were exhausted from our drive and my hubby was already sleeping by the time I made it to the shower...

Clean , pretty new hotel, but outside very smelly , wasn't bad sheets ready , so i went to reception and bring it by myself, also pool was out of order, but we booked this place because they have pool . So our kids got disappointed. Beds were comfortable .

The new hotel room was very good, however, the free breakfast was bland. Our bathroom was missing a key amenity (body wash container was broken) but room service fixed it pretty quickly.

Me and my family would give this location a 3 out of 5 i booked my room on Expedia and on the site it says check in at 3pm we get to the hotel at 3:48pm only to find out check in is at 4pm so we had to wait in our car for 32min until our room was ready.We got a suite that accommodates 6 people we are a family of 5 so we had to take showers coming into town to get ready for our event only to find out they don’t really have hot water so we couldn’t all take showers which was very disappointing.This hotel is nice though but just things like that made our stay a little upsetting.

We usually love Holiday Inn Express but this one was terribly lacking. The worst part was NO hot water in the shower. Now, you don’t know this until you are taking a shower. At which point, we just stayed in the room and went to bed. We did call and tell the front desk, also the shower head was leaking but all we got was a “ I don’t know why you don’t have hot water, I’ll have to ask my manager”. Never heard back-then there was the whole hotel waking up at 230 to a fire alarm. Never heard why. Breakfast was just disappointing-not much there. At the price point-you’d best find another hotel

The hotel is in great shape and well taken care of and our room was very nice and clean. Our stay at the hotel was great. But i do feel that Hotels.com doesn't tell you everything. I had an event in the MontereySalinas area. It puts in highlights on the list of hotels because the distance is 27 miles away. What they dont tell you is on Weekdays traffic is horrendous and what should be a 30-45 min drive can be 1 and a 1/2 to 2 hours because the city is almost land locked in andcstop and go traffic is everywhere no matter what path you take. Sad for the hotel but wont stay there if doing business in the Monterey/Salinas better to pay the higher price.

Check in took a very long time for just 2 people in line in front of me. Room was fine. Broken elevator when our room was on the 3rd floor was ridiculous. Breakfast was so-so.

Out of 5 days stayed in a row, the coffee was only hot on 1. That was Saturday. Then it was thin and taste-less. Very much like tea. Asked the morning desk and t g e response was, "...that's what we've got." So my overall is do not ever expect hot voffe at this hotel.

This place was not easy to find. We arrived at night and it took us awhile to get there from Hwy 101 to 152. The staff was welcoming, room was modern and clean and great breakfast from 6 am-9:00 am.

!!! Very noise, I could barely sleep. I can hear every step from people above me. I am not sure whether it's only my room but good luck with you if you decide to stay here and remember to bring a sleep ear buds.....

We arrived for breakfast 30 minutes before closing time and all the hot foods were empty, bread choices were almost depleted, pancake maker was not working, coffee creamer was empty. Extremely disappointed and would not stay there again. Only saw 1 employee working the breakfast room.
