Our stay at this property was great. It was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was fine. The kitchen had everything we needed as far as utensils, dishes and appliances. The toaster didn't work properly, and no dishwasher. But, we probably wouldn't of used the dishwasher anyway. The house is very close to town, we walked to Eldon's. We would rent it again.

Loved staying here for our fall girls weekend! Great walking distance to our favorite downtown shops! We rented both the upstairs and downstairs to have more space. Beds were comfortable and whole area was very spacious although we didn't get a chance to enjoy the outdoor deck/porch.

Our stay was very nice. The property was well maintained and clean and is located in a quiet neighborhood within a block of a park with a path around it. The owner was responsive and easy to work with. There are plenty of restaurants with a couple miles. I recommend this location.

Loved returning to the Cabin in the city! We had a lovely time celebrating our anniversary here! Hiking the Central Lakes Trail in the Fall and relaxing at the Cabin in the city made for an unforgettable stay. David made us feel so welcome. He ran extra blankets over and made sure the internet was running smoothly. The cleanliness and craftsmanship of the Cabin make it a place you want to return to. You’ll forget you’re in the city it’s so quiet!

Very clean lower level unit- comes with all the stuff needed to cook meals if we wanted. Even had a washer/dryer though we didn't use it. Master bed was a memory foam bed, other was softer. We'd definitely stay there again!

The little cabin in the cities, is very clean, quaint and comfortable. It was spacious for us and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The property owner is easy to communicate with. The property is centrally located and in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice, quaint unit for 2 people. Shower was great, bed was very comfortable. Could have used a working ice maker, but not a big deal. Location was very convenient since I was playing in the Resorters golf tournament at Alexandria Golf Club and close to our favorite restaurant.

We loved how this house was close to Downtown Alexandria and easy to get anywhere we wanted to go! Very clean and affordable, and David was kind in all of his communications. Since it was a girls weekend, we appreciated having a second mirror outside of the bathroom for getting ready! We wish there would have been more blankets for the couch in the living room, but otherwise it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This is a sweet, recently renovated, two-unit home. We had the ground-level space with a patio on the front and small deck on the back. We were in town for memorial service. The apt. was spacious enough that we were able to gather 16 of us for refreshments that evening. The host was SO kind, making sure we had all we needed. The location was great and the neighborhood safe.

This property is nicely appointed and decorated and exactly as shown in the pictures. Very comfortable! It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood conveniently located close to the main street of Alexandria. The open concept floor plan is uniquely designed for privacy and convenience. Although we didn't use it, a full size washer and dryer would be wonderful for longer stays. Off street parking is more than adequate.

Beautifully decorated open concept house with privacy curtains for sleeping and super comfortable bed linens with four pillows per bed. Two sleeping areas with choice of firm or soft mattresses. Two patios, one in front of house and the other in the back. Cute kitchen eating area with padded stools and there is an extra folding table and chairs if needed. David is a wonderful host with great communication and availability. 🙂

Overall, the home was excellent. The owner's communication was stellar, found the house and all the things needed as instructed. The cabin was spacious, spread out, and very cozy (and warm). Had everything we needed and the design of the cabin was really intriguing. It was a place we needed to stay overnight due to some business in town the next morning, but overall, it was a great place to stay. Everything was accessible and electronics/utilities all worked by remote (easy to figure out as well). My wife and I enjoyed our stay and we definitely would consider staying again sometime. Very quiet, slept well, and it was a great experience.

My best friend and I get together once every few months in Alexandria as it is a half way point for both of us. The home was beautiful (we called it our She-Shed). Super clean and all the amenities that we would need for our home away from home. We definitely plan to return for all our future visits.

We found the Cabin in the City while looking for a hotel. It turned out to be a great option for us. It is small, as described, but more room than a hotel room and much more comfortable. Everything is newly remodeled, very well done, and super clean. David was great to work with and we were very happy with the choice. We'll definitely be back!
