Lovely to stop in a very authentic French owned chateau. Owners had worked tirelessly to renovate it sympathetically.

Beautifully presented chateaux in a stunning region of France The hosts were very helpful and looked after us. Weather was extremely hot but we slept well in a comfortable well appointed room The pool was a delight set in a very large nice open garden, surrounded by mature trees and you could have a pleasant swim. drinks are always available. There are shady places to sit and relax Breakfast was really good. We really enjoyed our stay here and would fully recommend the chateaux

Un séjour absolument exceptionnel au Château d’Argentonesse !
Nous y avons passé deux nuits merveilleuses dans un cadre somptueux, entouré d’un magnifique domaine de 25 hectares, parfaitement entretenu et propice au calme et à l’évasion.
Le château est splendide, les chambres sont magnifiques, élégantes et d’une propreté irréprochable. L’espace piscine est superbe et particulièrement agréable. Ici, tout est pensé dans les moindres détails pour rendre le séjour inoubliable.
Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux, généreux et préparé avec beaucoup de soin. Un immense merci à Jean-Étienne et Christelle pour leur accueil chaleureux, leur gentillesse et leur attention constante.
Une adresse d’exception que nous recommandons sans la moindre hésitation. Nous repartons avec de merveilleux souvenirs et l’envie de revenir. Un véritable 10/10 !

An Exceptional Stay in a Beautiful Château
We had a wonderful stay at Château d'Argentonesse. The property is absolutely beautiful, combining historic charm with excellent renovation and modern comfort. The rooms are spacious, elegant and comfortable, and the surrounding gardens and swimming pool create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
The location is perfect for exploring the Dordogne, with many of the region’s beautiful villages, castles and attractions within easy reach.
A special mention must go to the hosts, Christelle and Jean-Étienne, who were exceptionally warm, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The breakfast was wonderful, . The attention to detail throughout the property was impressive.
A truly special place that we would highly recommend. .
