It was close to the harbour and amenities.
Was clean and presentable, smart tv was a bonus.
Fridge was barely useable as its missing door pockets and only had 1 shelf. Freezer was frosted up and unusable.
Bed was only a double so was a bit challenging for space and pillows were like paper.
Could have done with a fan as there was no air con and upstairs was roasting due to the hot weather.
Windows only opened one way so airflow was restricted and couldn’t get a breeze through the property.
We paid the same for 2 nights as you normally would for a week through Sykes cottages but had no options due to other booking being cancelled.

Location, cosiness, amazing shower!
The only reason this didn’t get a 10 is because it smelt very stuffy which is ok for a cottage that takes pets but most windows couldn’t be opened due to the poles holding the nets up.

Location - it’s easy to walk around Whitby with plenty of amenities near by
Great space for a couple or Solo traveller wouldn’t be suitable for a family
Lots of games within the property
The entrance is shared by another property.
There were multiple ghost walks stopping directly outside the windows within the property ( not sure if this is a frequent thing or specific around Halloween)
The property needs a little TLC cobwebs in bedrooms marks on the walls in stairs peeling paint in living room
