If your dream vacation involves staying in a home that will provide you an altitude adjustment, this is the property you've been waiting for. Located on the Eastern Continental Divide, this home is a luxurious, two-bedroom cabin with picturesque mountain views, soaring ceilings, and plenty of large windows.
Upon entering Altitude Adjustment, you'll immediately notice the open concept living which makes spending time with family and friends a breeze. Whip up your favorite dish in the fully stocked kitchen or watch a movie in the cozy living room. In the upstairs loft you'll find an additional entertainment room with plenty of board games to play. Bedroom one features a plush queen size bed and bedroom two has two twins that can easily be pushed together to make a king (additional bedding will be left for this option.)
Head outside and soak in the sweeping views and enjoy the privacy and fresh mountain breezes from the large deck. Take in mountain living while grilling up your favorite meal or telling campfire stories around the fire pit. Unwind in the hot tub after a long day of mountain activities. Located just 8 minutes from downtown Cashiers and Lake Glenville, you won't find any shortage of things to do at Altitude Adjustment. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. This was our first experience with booking a Vrbo, and the host and property both set high expectations for future stays. The property is exactly as pictured, and the views are even more beautiful. The house is surrounded by trees and lush flowering plants that were blooming for our early June visit. The hot tub was clean and positioned perfectly for watching sunsets and stargazing. The home is equipped with a washer, dryer and dishwasher. We were provided with enough detergents to run a load of dishes and laundry, and they provided plenty of towels and linens. The drive up to the house is a little rugged but manageable with 4WD. The coffee maker is a drip brewer so you’ll want to bring ground coffee not pods. The WiFi at the house is more than adequate, but cell service in the surrounding area is spotty to nonexistent so prepare ahead. The commerce building is about 5 mins away and doubles as a visitor center with free travel guides and maps you can pick up any time of day - it’s worth the stop if you’re unfamiliar with the area. All in all we had a great experience here, and we hope future guests enjoy it as much as we did.

We had an awesome time! Gorgeous view, clean and really awesome spot. Parking was tricky in a truck but we figured out the method. Maybe a smaller car wouldn't be an issue. No coffee grinder next time we'll just bring ground coffee and no shampoo and conditioner. Not big deals just good to know how to pack! Awesome hosts would stay again! Super close to town and great hiking!!
