Nestled in Cashiers, this lovely cabin for $275 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Nestled in the woods, among holly, pine, hemlock, Rhododendron and mountain laurel. The Sportsman log cabin is upscale, cozy, private and located 4/10 of a mile from the crossroads of highway 107 and 64 in Cashiers. It is a mountain retreat where you are in the woods but close to restaurants, antique shopping, hiking, golf and amenities. Walk right out the front door and you have some of the best hiking in the area. A log cabin, with an open living area, vaulted ceiling, one king bed and full bath downstairs. Upstairs offers 2 twin beds with 1/2 bath and a sitting area. The kitchen is fully equipped also with a washer and dryer. The Gazebo is yours to relax and use for gatherings, it has plenty of seating and has a gas grill. The area of Cashiers offers waterfalls, panoramic views and great hiking. Here you can enjoy a private mountain getaway, or an action packed adventure. Mountain biking, fishing, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, golf, and snow tubing here in Cashiers.

We very much enjoyed our Thanksgiving at this cute cabin in the woods. The location can’t be beat. It had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for a great stay!

The house was very easy to get to and perfect for my family of 4. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Also the house had air conditioning (some homes we have rented in Highlands and Cashiers didn’t have central AC). We also enjoyed sitting on the porch while it rained.

Great cabin! Well stocked kitchen, nicely appointed, and very comfortable bed. Use owner’s directions to the cabin…Apple Maps doesn’t take you there! The only negative we will mention is that the towels could have smelled fresher.

This was the first time that I have ever booked a vacation/getaway online. I could not be more pleased! The property was clean, cozy, remote but convenient and stocked with all the essentials. The property manager was so helpful, kind, and easy to reach. I recommend this cabin to anyone who just wants to getaway from the daily grind and enjoy the serenity of the mountains.

My husband and I stayed in cashiers for the Valley Leaf Festival and the cabin location could not have been better. Right in town but down a wooded, quiet lane. The cabin was clean and well stocked. They even supply wood for the fireplace! We will definitely stay here again.

The cabin was awesome, the porch with swing and rockers to enjoy coffee in mornings and sit and enjoy the fresh air in evenings. We loved the woods that surrounded the cabin, peaceful and private!! Contacted the owner Charlene and she was a sweetheart!! Definitely will stay again!!

This little hideaway is a gem just minutes from downtown Cashiers. Charlene was very gracious and helpful when I was navigating the last back road to the cabin and the entry. It’s a little tricky getting there, but all is well that ends well. I am a big walker, so I wish I had been able to walk places from the cabin to Cashiers, but the town is unincorporated and there are really no sidewalks from the cabin to downtown and it is a very busy road. That said, it is a 10 to 20 minute drive to lots of other neighboring towns, hiking, and attractions. Would definitely recommend!

The porch was delightful and we spent a lot of time reading, enjoying a beverage, and one evening we cozily experienced an afternoon rain shower. The cabin was well appointed and the property manager was very responsive to an inquiry. If you come to Cahiers don't miss having dinner at Canyon Kitchen. It was probably one of the best overall dining experiences we've had. Also, the Farmers Market is a treasure. This was our first time to the area and it won't be our last!

A great cabin in the woods!
There were lots of things we liked about this cabin!
It is very private, surrounded by trees and greenery. The front porch has two rocking chairs and a great swing.
Inside, the cabin is very comfortable for two adults (there is also a loft with two single beds and a small bathroom). The main room has a great couch and two great recliners which we enjoyed with our morning coffee and reading on our laptops. The kitchen is nicely equipped with just about anything you need for cooking and dining. Toaster oven, microwave and options for coffee were all bonuses.
The master bedroom was cozy, the bed was comfortable and we slept later than normal every night! The bathroom has a very nice shower, sink and commode, all looking very modern.
We enjoyed our stay very much and appreciated the communications from the owner.

Perfect Stay
We really enjoyed this property/house and vibe. Great location and had everything we needed. It was probably the best prepared home with fresh ice in freezer, Kleenex, sugar/tea/coffee...etc. We stayed with grandkid on family get together. When we rented didn't know we would have the kids...but was perfect. They enjoyed the loft with twin beds and proch.

The cabin is perfect. It had everything we needed and could think of! I was getting ready and thought, I would love to have a lighted vanity mirror, and then I decided to check below the sink-and yes! there was one there!
