Single-level newly renovated home - with beautiful private fenced in yard, lawn games, picnic table & gas grill, off-street parking for 4 cars, sun-filled front porch with swing seat, fully stocked kitchen, central AC & heat via mini-split system & 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 5 people. The Space: This home offers a private fenced in yard perfect for relaxing, lawn games, BBQing on our gas grill, eating and drinking, fully-equipped open concept kitchen and living room, off-street parking for up to 4 cars, 2-bedrooms, 1 full bathroom with stand-up shower, laundry, and comfortably sleeps 5 people in 1 queen bed, 1 twin-over-twin bunk bed, and 1 twin bed. Property Features - 600 square feet, high-speed internet, smart TV in living room and master bedroom (ability to log into your streaming services), central AC/heat via newly installed energy-efficient mini-split system, fully equipped kitchen with all major appliances (except dishwasher), Keurig coffee maker, 1 queen bed, 1 twin-over-twin bunk bed, and 1 full bed, 1 bathroom with stand up shower, clean linens and bath towels are provided for all guests, stackable washer/dryer unit in kitchen, dedicated work-from-home area on kitchen table and three-seasons porch with swing seat. Cleaning - Our cleaners are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations (doorknobs, surfaces, light switches, remote controls, tables, fan and lamp chains, thermostats etc). Important: Beach chairs and beach towels are not provided. No smoking, vaping or drugs allowed. No events, parties or large gatherings. Must be at least 25 years old to book. We have a Ring Doorbell Camera on the exterior of our property facing the outside of our entrance. This is not monitored but does record. We also have a Minut noise monitor system located inside the property in the kitchen/living room. This is a smart home device that measures volume levels throughout the property, it does not record sound, but allows us to respond to noise nuisances in a timely manner to ensure all neighbors are being respected. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Walks on the beach, lobster and beach pizza! I couldnt connect to the house rules so if i neglected anything i apologize.

Very nice, comfortable. I would recommend putting up a few hooks alonh bathroom wall. Would be nice to hang additional towels or a robe etc.

This stay was a memorial trip for my son who was killed earlier this year. The property was in a great location, allowed us to bring our family dogs and we could visit the spots we needed to as well. The property had a nice yard and privacy though we were close to others. We would definitely rent this property again.

This property was just as good or better than we expected! Walking distance to the Boardwalk was 👍 Very clean and oh so cute! Had everything we needed, including comfortable bedding! Having our 2 dogs with us was great as they are part of our family! The fenced in yard was perfect for them! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

I found this cottage and it proves the pictures are exactly accurate. The cottage is named Salty Dog and its It’s so funny I found out an alcoholic drink is named Salty Dog. This one you can’t drink!😃 My husband & I and my poodle & westie spent 3 days in this cute little cottage. It is exactly accurate in the description of this cottage on line thru Vrbo. Excellent site to find vacation rentals and rates as well as dates that are available. Rates for this cottage were much better than we expected especially off season. Inside is so cute with the open concept that makes it spacious. The dinning table is near the refrigerator. The only complaint is the fridge door opens to the right. Anyone sitting at the table next to fridge has to keep getting up when you open the fridge door. My suggestion to owners switch the fridge door to open to the left to alleviate this minor problem. All the appliances are in excellent condition and brand new cute little gas stove. The counter tops are granite and gorgeous. The bedrooms are as expected and the master bedroom bed is comfortable. Don’t like the fact you or your partner has to climb into the side of the bed against the wall. By husbanded need the side of the bed. I’m disabled so I couldn’t climb into bed. Due to space it’s understandable. We used the washer and dryer. It washes and dries really well. The bathroom is small and cute. Everything is up to date. The shower stall bit small works well. The best room in the cottage the porch. The standing wicker oval swing is so comfortable you can nap on it. The cottage is all fenced in front and back. The backyard isn’t large but big enough for my poodle & westie to run and play. The grill which is fairly new works very well. Only suggestion to clean the grease pan washed after each use. The grease was so caked on we couldn’t clean it. With just minor issues it recommend this cottage. It’s worth it and the location is .1 miles from the beach. Oh for the cleaning people please turn the heat on for the cool days when before customers arrive. It took quite a long while for the cottage to warm up. Finally I would definitely rent this cottage off season again. Thank you Vrbo! KenLou

Very nice property. Very much appreciate allowed our 2 big dogs. It’s small. Although on a main road into town of Hampton was relatively quiet. We had windows closed as it was cool in September. The beds were not as advertised and we actually got a text about an hour before arrival that one bed was broken and not useable. My husband slept in the master on a double sized bed, not queen. Was very uncomfortable like a pull out with bars across it hurting his back. I slept in the bottom deck twin which was pretty comfortable but tiny to what I’m used to. We could not park in driveway as we could not open doors of our SUV and get out. Parked in front space. Neighbors were nice. Close quarters. Think one burner on stove out right front. Overall nice. Couch could be more comfortable with perhaps another recliner/comfortable chair in living area to watch movies.

We had a wonderful stay. The place was close enough to walk to and from town. Grocery stores were a quick drive up the road and the yard was great. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a quiet cottage near the beach.
