About this house rental
Welcome to Duck Pond! The house sits off the road at the end of a shared driveway which feels extra private and secure. There are two bedrooms, perfect for families or couples that need a little extra space.
The main bedroom includes ensuite full bathroom and sliding door onto the back deck for those amazing nature views. Also equipped with a "cloffice" for your work from anywhere needs. The office fits fully in the main bedroom closet so you can close the doors when not in use. The cloffice includes a custom sit-stand desk and chair, external monitor, and is decked out in luxurious desk accessories by Grovemade including a mouse pad, desk pad, desk shelf, and note pad. Access the brand new sauna from the main bedroom or dining room.
Spacious living room and dining room with vaulted ceiling include comfy sofa and chairs, Samsung Frame TV to catch a game or relax with a movie. The kitchen is quite large and is equipped with everything you need including a fully stocked spice rack. There you will also find supplies for dogs and dining sets for kids. Although there are also great restaurants in Rockaway Beach that are just a short walk away. Check the guidebook for recommendations. Large dining table comfortably seats 6 for dinner or puzzle/game time. Lots of puzzles and games included!
The back deck is huge! And it’s almost completely surrounded by nature. It feels so private and you can just barely hear the ocean waves. We have comfortable Adirondack chairs with a large table, as well as a super cozy hammock. It’s a nice place to relax and eat dinner or let the kids or dogs run around as it’s completely fenced. New outdoor dining table and benches just added.
To fully relax you can now unwind in our brand-new sauna featuring a modern design and Spirit of Loyly heater, tucked privately on the back deck among the trees. Large picture window lets your decompress with a gorgeous view.
In the closet we have all your beach time accessories taken care of! This includes beach towels, 4 beach chairs, a portable table, small cooler, and sand toys.

This place is beautiful, quiet and well located. It’s close to the beach and the main Rockaway Beach boardwalk, yet isolated enough for a quiet peaceful stay. The place was clean, welcoming, well stocked with amenities. And my wife and I who are both pretty terrible sleepers were obsessed with the pillows. We ended up looking them up hoping to buy some for our home. No luck.

We love this house. We came back to the duck pond this summer for the third year in a row. The unit is very clean, secluded, and only two blocks from the beach. It sleeps my wife and I and our four kids comfortably. Also, rockaway is a great jump off point for All things on the northern Oregon coast. Will definitely come back.

The house is great, and location was great - short walk to the beach and the main strip. I gave the house 5 stars overall but one thing that was mentioned by one of the guests is that non-slip mats need to be in the tubs or available. The only other "issue" was that the sofa was not comfortable at all... but we were out and about so weren't using it much.
