We had such a wonderful stay at the Old Church House, made even more special by our gracious hosts, Liz and Freddie. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly welcome in their beautiful historic home.
They had thought of so many thoughtful touches to make our stay comfortable. The refrigerator was stocked with milk and bottled water for us, and there was coffee, tea, a kettle, and dishes/cups/glasses available as well. Our bed was spacious and very comfortable, making it easy to feel right at home.
Liz and Freddie were also wonderful about sharing recommendations for restaurants and places to explore. We especially loved the beautiful views from our windows overlooking the historic church and cemetery—it gave our stay such a charming and quintessentially English atmosphere.
And the star of the bathroom was definitely the huge soaking tub! After a day of exploring Frome, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind.
Our stay was a truly lovely experience, and we would highly recommend the Old Church House to anyone looking for a comfortable, charming, and memorable place to stay in Frome. We would happily stay here again!

Loved the quirky setting and the beautiful views out the window. Liz and Freddie were friendly and welcoming and able to offer advice about the local area. Bedroom was set up with a fridge which was helpful during the hot weather, and we were provided with a fan to make us more comfortable. Fave bit is the gorgeous bathroom!
Nothing to complain about. There's no TV in the room as a few people have mentioned but that didn't bother us.

Amazing location in the heart of Frome. Freddie and Liz were great hosts. Fabulous communication. Great tips on where to go and very friendly and accommodating. Bed was super comfortable. Lush bath. Stunning house. So much history and really quirky.
I hadn’t realised there were dogs. That’s my fault as I should have read the owners summary as it was clearly stated. I have dog allergies so was glad I had some piriton with me. The room was nice but cleaning was not fantastic. Certain areas needed some TLC. The complimentary coffee in the room was a nice touch but had gone rock hard so couldn’t be used. It was very cold although an electric heater had been provided it was very noisy so we avoided using it.
