The best thing was the views from the terrace outside your room. To the west, you've got a lovely vista of the Mekong and the huge golden Buddha statue in Thailand. From the east side balcony, you see the young monks doing the tak bat every morning. A special experience. Other aspects of the location are great: a few doors down from the Gibbon Experience office and close to a range of cafes and convenience stores. The staff were lovely. There's free tea and coffee and a shared fridge downstairs.
Toiletries and water aren't provided in sustainable packaging.

The room was spacious and clean, with a big bed and hot shower. Good for a one or two night stay, 2 minutes from the Gibbon Experience and 20 minutes from the slow boat pier.
There was no breakfast but plenty of options nearby. The host seemed a little unfriendly at first but was fine after a few communications.

Convenient location near slow boat. Very helpful staff. Good view from terrace.
Our room was quite different from the one shown in the picture. It had only one window with no particular view and the room did not look fresh as did the room in the picture.
